2. http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=191045015498&globalID=EBAY-GB Really can't see how this would improve a 410,especially how wide it is now. Someone enlighten me!
 3.
Hmm...just seen your other post. Are you thinking of changing cabs, amp or both ? What do you feel's missing from your current setup ?
I guess it's wondering if there is another amp that would sound better for me.unfortunately it's not like basses that can,and will,be brought tried and sold if not suited. Amps are really difficult to try, especially in band situations. I'll a proper play with the eq tomorrow, it's normally pretty flat as I use an active bass, using my passive jazz tomorrow so il have a play Thanks
 4. Good review! I want the blue one but only if my CV rosewood neck will fit it,get your Phillips screwdriver and tape measure out ;-)
 5.
you know you wouldnt have this conundrum at all if you just settled for a second 410 with an LH1000 it would be rude not to .... you know it makes sense
I had a hydrive 810 but traded it for a 410 (plus cash money). That thing was an animal. Two 410 would be nice but I like the idea of a satellite cab,to leave the mother ship for small gigs and home playing
 6. I got a speakon to jack adapter off eBay a while ago, very handy
 7. Do you mean the two sizes? Well,I have a nice choice for acousticy gigs with the 210, and when using both it gets the sound abit nearer my ears.
 8. On my recent quest to change things up, I'm thinking of adding a 210 to my 410,using my lh1000 head. Problem is,the 410 is rated at 1000w while the 210 I'm thinking of getting (Genz) is rated at 300w. So if I adjust the cab balance knob a quarter turn to the 410, will that mean thr sound will be distributed evenly? Twice to power for twice the speakers I figure, don't fancy blowing things up Many thanks good people
 9.
Bargain!! GLWTS
Thanks alot, at this price I might just keep it to hang on the wall and look pretty
 10. I'm not sure I'm 100% happy with the sound from my lh 1000 head and hydrive 410. I am always thinking what if there is a 'better ' sounding set up I could try. I don't know anything about Genz stuff but have seen good reviews, anyone got any advice comparing the two? Cheers
 11. Anyone know what the neck pocket is like on the Vintage /Harley? Always nice to know you can swap necks about with your fenders :-)
 12. Ash body on the Harley Benton, surprising on a 100 quid bass I been considered the Vintage but that Harley is damm cheap, same pick ups too?
 13.
Check the full wiring against this (but note that the wire colour codes are different in that diagram,, notably Seymour Ducans RED = DiMarzio BLACK and Seymour Duncan BLACK = Dimarzio RED) http://www.seymourduncan.com/support/wiring-diagrams/schematics.php?schematic=jazz_bass_stacks
I think that's how iv wired mine, except they are solderedless pots so have a negative or earth side and the positive or red side Arrr this is doing my head in!
 14.
Have you checked the taper of the pots? Sounds like a Linear pot when it should be a Logarithmic one. When you say you turn the volume pot down a fraction the sound disappears does *all* of the sound disappear, or just the output from that particular pickup?
Just that pick up Thanks for the replies, would there be different pots to suit these pick ups?
 15. Hi all Have brought myself some Ultra jazz pups and an upgraded wiring loom/pots. Have fitted it all per instructions, but have a problem; The two volumes only work on full turn,as soon as they are turned down at all,the sounds disappears. Obviously not good. The instructions are ; Red to pos Green to neg Then a black and a white wire soldered together n left alone Bridge ground to neck negative Any help would be great,it's a cv jazz if that helps, and cts pots Thanks
 16.
Looking good! Quick question, I know KiOgon is a member, but what are his pots and harness? I assume it's volume pots but what difference does it make having them?
Upgraded CTS pots used on usa fenders I believe,I'm no expert so better give him a PM. Thanks for the comments guys
 17.
Sir duke / Master Blaster / stevie wonder great bass lines jay
Second that. Shows you can groove too, very important Listening to 'december 63' (o what a night) by franki valli/four seasons,as I type this. Decent solid groove with some nice tasty runs, and instantly recognisable, fun to play too
 18.
That's a lovely looking bass, where did you get the pearl plate?
Got it off a chap on here, second hand Mexican jobby
