1. Apologies I haven't been able to weigh the squier as we seem to have lost any scales we had during a recent house move. My gigging bass is a super light mm sterling, this doesn't feel too much heavier. Sorry for lack of decent info!
2. I will try and weigh it when I get back home, certainly not a heavy bass Cheers
3. Still here! Will trade up for a nice musicman, and after a small amp like markbass etc Cheers
4. Hi, Perfect working order, brought a few years ago and stored since as never really used it. Great condition, comes with lead and potentially box if I can find it. £80 posted or pick up from winslow bucks Cheers Pics when photobucket stops being seriously crap Simon
5. Bump Maple neck has sold separately so just bass and pick ups available
6. Thanks for all the pms, mostly abiut selling the maple neck. I will be replying later tonight Cheers

9. Cheers for your kind words! Bump again, would swap for another MM sterling
10. I think your right. Lots of interest but no cigar. Can't believe how many basses are for sale atm, this disappears down to page 4 after 2 days! Bank holiday bump
11.
Bought one of these off a BC'er a few months back ......and I love it! They're fab basses, they look, feel and sound the biz I played 2 USA Jazzes recently, and they didn't come anywhere near as nice as my roadworn A lot of people talked these up when I was thinking about buying one .... and they were right If you're considering one of these - give this a whirl It's a fair price for one of these beauties too Have a free bump clashcityrocker Great name BTW Marc
Cheers Marc, is a very nice bass, seems a shame to not play it. Unfortunately I'm too young to have every seen the clash but they are by far my favourite band, even got the China rocks logo tattooed on my leg :-) Simon
12.
Brilliant basses these, GLWTS!
Cheers pal, they are very good indeed
13. Hi all. When the mot man laughs and says the failures have made it on to two pages, you know it's gunna be an expensive week. So I need money to repair my work van, and I don't really play this much so it makes sense to sell it. Another bass iv bought that doesn't compare to my mm sterling. Roadworn jazz bass,in beautiful sunburst and nice road relicing. Classic jazz sound and is surprisingly light. I would say mint condition but it isn't,although it is how it left the factory :-) I'm after 580 collected from just south of Milton Keynes MK17 0ew, do not want to post at the moment as have no gig bag for it. The only trade I may be tempted by is something MM with a thin neck, the Sterling Classic Active sort of thing,as I do need a cheaper back up bass. Any questions Pm or text zero 753337164eight Thanks for reading,Simon More pics soon
14. Beautiful! Might have to sell my rw jazz pretty sharpish...
15. Hi Ratman, did you buy the cab from me in buckingham a few years ago? I'd have it back off of you if you were closer. Hope your well
16.
Interestingly, it seems that the majority of people who can 'hear the difference' between an aged Fender and a new one are those who have just spent £14K on an old one... difference or self justification? Not an easy one to answer without p*ss*ng people off.
I think I would get that tattooed on my hands if I had just spent 14k on one!
17. I was thinking the Chocolate shade of the dye I linked would do the job. Apparently this stuff is just re labelled and sold in the US as fretboard dye. I assume this won't adhere to the frets but the dot markers worry be abit
