3. A 'I need to sell this to buy Christmas presents' type bump
4. few small cosmetic scratches (shown in photo). Has the box and the manuals etc looking for £40 posted
5. Just recieved a digitech whammy off Shep and honestly couldn't have asked for a better person to deal with! Currently short of cash and he let me pay over 2 months and kept it behind all that time for me! hope to deal with you again! Cheers!!
6.
Basically the tension when tuned to CGCF is the same as say prosteels tuned to EADG.
Ah thanks for clearing that up, I think I'm just gonna stick to the strings I use just now at least untill I can get a second bass
7.
There's some bloody clever stuff with tension cores around, my Newtones are great for CGCF (it's what they were designed for) and play nearly the same as a bass in standard tuning. Gauge? .110
Do you mean they play as if they were in standard? or they play well in standard? I sent a few e-mails to Newtone strings about getting some strings ordered and they completely blanked my second e-mail....not great customer service if you ask me!
8. I would do that but if I'm honest I just can't afford to at the moment
9. ready for the floor by Hot Chip - despite the fact the last thing I listened to was Meshuggah..
10. I was just curious really 'cause I tune from F#BF#BE to CEADG and I really can't afford a new bass at the moment (the only bass I want is a Warwick thumb unfortunatley). I currently use DR Neons (heaviest gauge they make in them?) and they sound decent when drop-tunes but not much stability if that makes any sense?
11. Basically I'm considering buying the DDT strings due to being in low tunings majority of the time but I do a music course at college...so I need to use standard tuning as well. was wondering if the gauge's 55 75 95 115 135 would be able to tune to standard? cheers
12. *pirate immigration*. Actually spellt 'imitation' there but iPhone autocorrect changed it to immigration and I'm tired and need to sell this and really should stop typing style bump
13. To the top Untill enevitably nobody buys this and I have to do this again Bump
14. "I think we should get a second guitarist" and "we should try and sound like this *plays a song from relativley well-known band*" are the two i hate most, the guitarist one is purely just because i feel having 1 guitarist makes the band much much tighter whilst playing live and the 2nd one is because i hate when bandmates purposly (spelling?) try and sound like another band
15. £65 ? I'm losing over £40 already, I'm skint
16. £40 + £4 P+P few little chips in the paint but apart from that its perfect and works fine. Doesn't have a box but will be padded really well when sending out. not being able to post a photo here but can e-mail them on request Thanks, Cameron
17. Boss AW-3, bought in July and hasn't really been used much since. I play prodiminatly in metal bands so working wah into the sound just doesn't seem to work. I paid £105 for it, so £70 inc P+P? tried uploading a photo but was getting "Error No file was selected for upload" - can send pictures if needed Cameron.
