Once while playing drums for a fairly heavy rock band, I asked the soundman if I could rotate the kick mic 90 degrees so that it was facing the skin instead of the side of the drum. He said "there are two ways to mic a kick drum you know, leave it alone". -
you're getting rid of the Moog LPF?!? I thought that was the essential pedal for dubstep? I find it far too difficult to sell pedals. I always think "I might need that sound" 'cos I do a lot of recording.

My first bass was a Fender Musicmaster. I had no idea what it was at the time. I'd bought a 6 string bass and decided 4 wasn't enough so I swapped it for a cheap sh*t drum kit. I really, really regret it. I'd love to have that bass back -
Well I do want a looper so maybe once I have that i'll move on to something else. Maybe a nice synth pedal. I have the digitech BSW but it's rubbish

I do this in one of my bands but they hardly ever tell me about tempo problems. It's pretty frustrating and I have no idea how to fix it. I can play to a click but they don't really like it because there are bits in the songs where they like the drums to shut up, at which point we go out of time. for the rock band I play in (more up tempo) I don't seem to have the problem at all

I just need a band to play bass in so I can make my weird noises. I think I might actually have enough pedals... what's wrong with me?

[/quote] There are no samples of sounds stuffed into this box. It does have A/D/A conversion going on if that's what you're on about? I love zoom multi-effects. I use a lot of individual pedals too (I think my collection is at least 40 pedals) but I still gig with my B2.1U as well.

I thought you may have been referring to something else... maybe Fender Acoustic Basses aren't great or something. I will re-consider the asking price in a couple of days, but I did hope that people would just offer me what they think it's worth.

I do this with my Peavey TNT (well I run my pedals full range but anyway) I have the hi output from the crossover going straight to a guitar amp, and leave the lo output unplugged. This seems to send the full range from the pre to the power section of the peavey amp giving me full range to the combo speaker. The easiest way to test is to plug a patch lead into the hi output of the crossover and see if it drops all the high end from your sound.

When I was a kid we loved cricket but couldn't afford a bat. We tried to fashion one from wood but it didn't work. The 62 strat my uncle had in his loft was perfect once we'd cut the sides off. Later, once I fell out of love with cricket and took up the guitar, I just glued some new chipboard sides on so it looked cool... what's the problem?

I'm not particularly careful when moving gear around. My basses will always be in cases though, unless they're on a stand, so they tend to avoid much damage. My amp is pretty beaten up but I don't care, it still sounds the same. I do have a rule to keep the top of my amp clear of any liquids. It's nothing to do with being precious and everything to do with avoiding serious electrical problems!

Thanks BIGd - as I said pricing suggestions are more than welcome. I did buy it 2nd hand so will add that to the OP to make it clear. I was hoping 9 years worth of inflation would be my loss on this bass but perhaps that's too optimistic
