Okay, so up for sale is my amazing Status S2 5-string, known as "Miss.Myrtle." The bass is mint, no marks on it whatsoever. Possibly the most beautiful S2 ever made and featured in Performing Musician magazine a couple of years ago in a review. Graphite through neck with phelonic fingerboard. 24 frets 34" scale Myrtle wood top. Beautiful mahogany body. Gold hardware. 18V active Status board 302 with 3 band eq & mid cut/flat/boost switch. Status branded Hiscox lifelite case. Full Status toolkit & all documentation. Priced to sell at £1650 ono. Buyer to collect or meet. NO TRADES. I'm putting up my Fender Marcus Miller Jazz with Status Graphite Neck for sale. The Bass has a genuine Fender Marcus Miller body, Schaller machine heads and a brand new set of warwick yellows strings. It comes with gig bag. The bass was put together by John Shuker. Since the bass has been built its only had about 2 hours playing time. The neck is brand new and was bought by me direct from Status. I don't have the original neck. Reason for sale is I only play 5 or 6 string basses now, I've tried to keep a good quality 4 string in case I decide to try a 4 again, but I never do, so It's a shame to have this one sat about doing nothing. I'm looking at around £720. The scratch plate is signed by Glenn Hughes ex Deep Purple, but is easily removable if signatures are not your thing. I have added no value to the bass because of the signature. If you thought a Geddy Jazz had attitude, you should hear this baby. I don't want to post this, but I'm willing to travel a fair distance from Derbyshire to deliver. Or you can come here, tea and biccies are free.
