1. The BB1024 arrived, with a lovely gig bag. This is the first BB I have owned and played, my early impressions are very good. It was setup well out of the box, only dropped the string height a little at the saddles and it was setup great for my liking. This really is a lot of bang for the buck - flawless build quality and an all-rounder of a bass, it really nails a whole range of tones, the P-bass tone this achieves is making me question whether my other P bass may be redundant. My fave though is def both P&J together - big fat round tone, and perfectly even across the range of the instrument. The output of the p'ups is also impressive.
2. £499, which I'm hoping will prove to be good value for money if it turns out as good as some reviewers have suggested...
3. I think I may have snapped up the last BB1024 at GuitarGuitar as they're now showing out of stock after hitting the button last night. Should arrive tomorrow 😀
4. Further price drop - £1100 (trade value remains)
5. Bump - RC-1 still available.
6. Price Drop Bump - will consider any trades (4 string only) but ideally with some cash in my direction.
7. Bump 😀
8.
Are the straplocks still available?
Hello, yes still available.
9. Hi Lloyd, PayPal or bank transfer are equally preferable. If you send me a PM with your address I'll send you the payment details. Cheers, Graeme
10. Oh sorry, yes I have them, they were still screwed into my amp, there's 4 in total, my older LMK has 2 holes each side. I'm guessing some LMK's have three each side given the ears have three holes.
11. Hi, i have 4 spare rack screws I can throw in, you will need a few more though. Just standard size rack screws.

14. PRICE DROP - £1100 This is a somewhat reluctant sale - I love it but just favour my 4 stringers. This is a 1992 Warwick Thumb NT5 that has received some modifications along the way. Firstly, this was originally a fretless which I had converted a few years ago to fretted by Richard Meyrick (Luthier) here in Wales - I apologise to those fretless lovers who see this as a potentially criminal act. As such, the fingerboard is ebony instead of wenge. The intonation and setup is just fantastic and the frets still appear almost unworn, having received little use over the past few years. The only sign that indicates this was once fretless are that the side marking dots are positioned directly over the frets rather than in between them. Secondly, the preamp is not original, it's however a great pre and to my ears doesn't colour the natural tone of the instrument, just allows the different frequencies to be amplified. The pre-amp was made by Kiz Zoltan of Zolkow Preamps, The only difference from a standard thumb-pre is that the middle knob is a pickup blend rather than a mid control. Thirdly, in an attempt to reduce the weight of the instrument, I replaced all the original brass body hardware (Bridge & Control knobs) which had faded a bit, for the more modern Warwick non-brass equivalent. This has not effected the tone to my ears however I will include all the original hardware in the sale. The bass is however now a little lighter than it was originally, weighing 4.9 kg. Lastly, you will also notice that the truss rod cover is blank, i.e. no 'thumb bass' script. Either this has worn off over the years or its a replacement, these can be purchased from Warwick at extortionate cost. Overall, this bass is in excellent condition, with the relatively new frets and new body hardware, it has the look and feel of a new instrument, but with the compliment of all the great wood combinations and manufacturing-skill from what some consider to be the golden era of Warwick production. If you're interested, I'll happily encourage a viewing / test at my place in Cardiff. I'm willing to ship worldwide at buyers expense - the bass will come with a hard-shell case and will be bubble wrapped etc. As for trades, of course i'd prefer a cash sale but will entertain trades - generally I'll consider anything with four strings. Please see my feedback here on BC. Cheers, Graeme **SOLD**
15. Stunning instrument! Saw this bass in the flesh when I bought another Warwick off the previous owner - such a lovely instrument and looks as new!
16. Bought a pedal off Alan. Exactly as described and he posted it off the same day the deal was made! A super efficient transaction all round. Thanks again.
17. Bought a set of control knobs of Stuart. Items as described and received quickly. Very pleasant transaction.
18. This has been collecting dust for years now so time to move it on... A Gator 4U rack case in good condition with both keys - everything working as it should. There are some scuff marks here and there from previous use but pretty minimal. £45 posted in the U.K.
19. Sold a bass to Kert. He came and collected it himself saving me the bother of postage. A nice guy - hopefuly see him again at a South Wales bass bash!
20. Thanks for the comments - Bump!
