  1. Public-Peace is their site indeed. Build time is now roughly 15 weeks.
  2. Hi , .... hmmmmmmmm..... 34 , Walnut body , Ebony Board , Maple neck. Bassculture 38hb the only reason i chose those pickups is cause my frog 5 has bassculture 48hb and i'm more than happy with the sound of it ..... not really anything more than that.
  3. only the wife can say "too many" , luckily for me i'm not married.
  4. yes , you can get in just about any colour. I've done Candy red and Lake placid blue for some customers.
  5. black gloss on maple
  6. Hi , i'm still following this indeed. To me Adrian is one of the most up to his word person i've ever met. Despite an obvious language barreer I cannot say enough good things about him. He's mentored me into my business and is without a doubt sort of co-responsible for my sort of success.
  7. Public Peace are currently taking their 1st business holidays in 13 years. Until the 22nd.
  8. me too lol .... i've been staring at it since the boss sent it to me after i innocently asked "anything available" lol ....
  9. Hi , yeah... I ! We are all only humans but I can honestly say i try 110% to match people's expectations. Dave's bass was actually Ex demo due to finding a scratch on it (god dammit I hate when that happens....) before concluding the deal. That being said i'm sure some people would send out hoping he'd not see it and then go "oh really?" but I care too much about my rep as a seller to even think to risk that. His bass was the lightest normal scale i've ever had in stock. Most Maruszczyk passive are about 3,5 kilo. I've just sold a 32 inch Chambered J that went below 3 kilo. Which is pretty outstanding. cheers
  10. buying from tom before the hype began and ppl started fighting for them is the best thing i ever did ... staggering jb's with world class attention to detial
  11. Ah so you know what I do lol. Yes started about 2 and a half years ago with something like 6 basses. Now its beyond surreal to be carrying Moon , Atelier Z .... jesus christ .... O_O a light Moon and Atelier Z is basically 4,2 to 4,5 kilo , anything less will be a mistake ..... i adore them , the demo we did with a 4 Marcus miller style and the 5 JB M265 60's are my two basses ..... i love what they do but it takes time and people need to hear and see to start to believe. enjoy the bass
  12. We are currently dealing Atelier Z Basses and "good weight" still has to be custom ordered otherwise they will build a 5,3 kilo 4 string if not pointed out. Its quite common to see 80's builds that are 6+ kilo (lol)....
  13. well its still not bad in the custom world ! however demand is raising ... its been crazy in last 12/18 month.
  14. lead time is about16 20 weeks now. + - used to be 8 .... not so long ago
  15. heyyy its my pic ! ! just send email to adrian, the configurator is really time consuming to setup so they cannot do every single possible option in the world. they do still do old fashion / style orders where you write emails and all
  16. for full disclosure .. i have 3 of my own lol .... that's how much i believe in the product lol
  17. Thank you Man. I only try.... terrific bass, you bought it 2 days before the demo came out lol ...
  18. Hi , i started working with Adrian about 2 years ago and the lead time for a custom bass was around 8/10 weeks (roughly). Its now up to 16/20 I guess (if you keep in mind those are made to order only , so delays can happen i suppose. That's just the way it goes....). And prices have gone up to kinda control demand (even if Adrian is not about money, he told me he would never build a 5k JB). Factory has recently expanded to be able to use all machines at all times (in previous place while X was using machin Z, Y couldn't use machine B) and keep up with orders. 1st time i went to Public peace (about 2 years ago too i suppose) it was literally FILLED UP with basses. My DREAM place to be ....probably about 500... not sure. Well its now getting emptier and emptier. Every time we go there's less ... (im about 90 minutes away i guess) ... starting from 4 instruments in 2005.... proof with patience ... anything can be done. 4 instruments , 3 luthiers , a Factory about to go under... 13/15 years later there's around 450 custom bass per year (600 total , around that) and about 14 luthiers full time... Amazing success story and i got so much respect for the boss for that....
  19. wouldn't surprised me that much coming from them ... order one thing and get another
  20. built for me around a zillions years ago , its 32 inch , macassar ebony top ...
