1.
Damn, so my plan for a 32" scaled Horn is out then Was wondering if he'd do a bass version of that one or the Navigator (as nobody really does those kind of basses) Still, got a Speesy on the way so that's cool.
well i suppose you can always ask.....but the company is already at full capacity with waiting time increasing so i wouldn't expect a custom project to go through. but ... you never know :-)
 2.
Really? Got my catalog out in front of me and I could have sworn there's a guy playing a bass in the shape of a bottle of Jack Daniels?
I can only tell you my personal experience. He may have done custom request here and there but he didn't even wonder about it when I had a customer asking a custom shape. Was a big fat "no , no sense" :-) :-D
 3.
Gorgeous. Just wondered about this, but has anyone put in a full custom from Adrian, so I mean something that is a shape that isn't offered by them. What was the price point on it?
Adrian will not do custom shapes. I had a local customer asking that. He flat out refused. cheers
 4. You should call Martin :-) ! i think about 2 month or so ....possibly less. i know he doesn't like to be "rushed" with Sei's.... so ...... something like that :-), i simply don't know, about to be sent to martin sims .... for finishing / color
 5. adrian keeps impressing me ... proper high end Jobs for no money. Although I did see in his last video that he did a bass for a customer that was 2200 euro. I am very happy to see that company going into "proper luthier" work ... please don't get me wrong when I say that, I only mean exotic top , roasted maple and so on. That a lot of people charge a lot of money for. He's starting to do jobs , that are still under just about anybody but are much higher than his "usual jazz bass"
 6. Right yeah, sorry to UK Maruszczyk Fans. Didn't know £ was now 1 for 1,13 euros... damn ! on a happier note i'm getting my goldie today ;-)
 7.
Are you Bootsy? Looks awesome!
i wish. Nothing like that. Just work in a Disco Band. And thought .... "why not..."
 8. I'm "about to get" .... a Flamboyant 5 headless. Black sparkle front Flame maple / purple heart neck alder body P + MM Passive 34 scale rosewood board BOUM
 9.
I'd love to visit Adrian, he seems very warm and very genuine. But musicians are generally a friendly bunch.
Generally....
 10. To me he's already the new Celinder. Charging Same price (roughly 5000 euro per instruments) , huge waiting list ... etc... and big difference from Chris Celinder , when you write they answer :-)
 11.
hey, you! shut up! (I'm actually planning a trip next year, with my car, that will take me to parts of Poland, south Germany, Czech Republic and possibly Austria... looking at Adrian's location, it doesn't seem crazy to adjust my route to go there too... but I know I should not... which is probably the reason I should, as I'd regret it otherwise... argh! )
i'd recommend it .... i've been 4 times now (i'm one hour away roughly). And every time i go "woaaaaaaaw" ... in a look for "jesus christ how ..." :-D but ... i'll shhhhhhh
 12.
I'm not envious. It would be torture to be able to just swing by and have a chat and look at basses... and not leave with an order or three in place
well its a very inspiring place to be. The fact he started with 4 basses now close to 11 years ago and now has 500 or 600 at his home. Is utterly inspiring for a kid like me trying to do something in this business. Adrian is one of the coolest i've met and I am even kind of honored to call him a mentor and even some sort of friend. He's been extremely generous with me. i'd encourage anybody to go.... :-)
 13.
Yowzer!
i know :-D getting it tuesday !
 14. my custom is ready... full disclosure (i've seen people getting stoned for less on here) : i do work with Adrian for his dealer network. This bass however is not for sale and will not be. This is my own personal one.
 15. lower end series won't happen. due to no orders anymore. He's hoping to reach roughly 25 / 27 instruments per year, but definitely no lower range serie... cheers
 16.
I wonder this too. I don't actually know.
yes they do on request
 17. Hi , i HATE to be "that guy" but.... i would very highly motivate / encourage you into putting more pictures and text for this sale ad. I don't know for others but I would personally never ever shell out 5000 euros based on what i can see.
 18. i've bought one out of curiosity some weeks ago. in my opinion they've made quite a few Fender's completely irrelevant , while still being at a much lower price point. Congrat's on Marcus miller for managing that.
 19.
According to the Mensinger Facebook page, he's looking at expanding next spring, is that correct?
Yes i know things are happening and looking into expanding. Don't know details though.
 20.
Really? That small? I remember reading he employed 15 people. I had assumed it was 15 working as builders. His English isn't the best, however I've got nothing except good things to say about communication, aside from not having an out of hours/we're automated message. But Adrian has contacted me via email really late at night too. So overall pretty good things to say.
the team in germany is 3 or 4 people i think... indeed ... to my knowledge (could be wrong) there's about 13/14 people in Poland.
 21.
I know Adrian as 100% reliable. If you visit him in Aldenhoven in Germany, (what I recommend) you'll see, that it is a Family Business at least. The Basses are made in Poland by Mensinger Guitars. In Aldenhoven Adrian lives with his Wife and his Daughter in a Farm House, with round about 600 Basses and Guitars in Stock. He does all by himself. He has Customers there, who test Basses and buy them at his House (like I do),. Also he has an Recording Studio, is a Bass Teacher, is always in Contact with the Mensinger Company and the Customers who get in Contact via e-mail. As far as I know the whole Work is done by only a few (3-4) People. At least you also can give him a Call. He is not the Best in "speaking english", but his Daughter does well. kind Regards Tom
well put, been there twice and going back tomorrow. Small Family business for sure. Very inspiring place , considering that he started 10 years ago with 4 basses and now has 600 at his show room. His house is utterly inspiring for me. When he started his company 10 years ago there was 3 people building in Poland. He now has 19 people under his orders. (or around that number total , German team + Polish team) 100% reliable for sure. cheers
 22.
He's just an extremely busy guy, who probably receives squillions of emails. I miss emails sometimes too.
yeah....
 23. Adrian is one of the busiest person i know of, so i would just be patient. he is however extremely good with emails (lots of other people should take example lol) , so i would advise trying again from another account. I don't even want to know how many emails he gets per day ... so i would extremely surprised he gets to check his junk folder....
 24. definitely a big "collector effect" on them .... as there's no difference that i can hear between A serial Fender or JV serial Fender ... yet one is likely to be worth 3 or 400 more than the other. that being said those early Japanese things represent for me unbeatable price VS quality .... to me ears
