1. As a 'spare' I'd perhaps consider it. As a main use amp, I wouldn't.
 2. What happened to your amp?
 3.
When I get back home from this gig I'm gonna put the footage on youtube where it will go viral...
Careful with that, you'll end up with a runny nose and a nasty rash...
 4.
Over 3300 people have seen me doing something with my little finger at one point and some kind of slap effort at the end already!
Thank goodness you managed to find a video before Discreet got here...
 5.
I'm filming all this on my smartphone . . .
Yeah, but you can't e-Mail it out can you..?
 6. That's a neat workaround.
 7.
Consider yourself un-shot at .
I habitually wear kevlar anyway.
The only way this story could be improved would be if the annoying phone punter had been Justin Bieber and Frampton's manager had been Peter Grant, a man who very much had a thing about amateur recordists.
Oh I don't know. Adding a barrel of rum, One Direction and a sink plunger has possibilities...
 8.
Frankly, I'd have bent the punter over and shoved the phone roughly up his chocolate starfish but I suppose that would be a criminal offence rather than a civil matter and we can't have that, oh no.
Fortunately, shooting the messenger is neither of those. I do however wonder if the responses in this topic might have been a little different if that young Mr Bieber had done this.
 9. I'm no legal expert but I'd have expected recording a gig in contravention of T&Cs to be a civil matter, whilst intentionally destroying someone's property would be a criminal offence.
 10.
Well this turned out well Lets both stay in the pit after all Ian I think it is safer than we thought down here? Now if we could just get that big cake from the other thread and a few bottles of ale we would be all set up, Lol
munch chomp burp Cake?
 11.
You have fell into my trap!
Well I saw you sat in the bottom of your bear pit and thought I'd join you. FWIW, I totally agree with your point. I sometimes see a local guitarist play around the circuit who is technically superb. He's as dull as ditch water and most of the audience wanders off to the bar.
 12. Couple of things about the HA series. First up, if they overheat they do cut out by design. Secondly, they do need some free air around them or they do overheat - make sure you don't shove it to close to a wall. HTH
 13. Having a pile of techniques under your belt doesn't automatically make you 'good'. 'Good' is what happens when you choose the right one.
 14.
Also, says it comes with an Ibanez quality gig bag, but there's a fitted hard case in the photos. That's a bit weird too.
It's not. It's a fitted soft case - a 'neither one thing or the other' type thing.
 15. It's nice to see someone actually using that third finger on their playing hand. I don't think she's a real bass player though - she almost smiled a couple of times.
 16.
Oh yes, very nice lads. That boy can sing can't he?
I reckon he's done it before...
 17. I can't say if the ad is legit or not, but you're totally right to be interested. I tried one of these about two months ago and it was absolutely gorgeous to play.
 18.
You were top of my list! But alas, the thread is not to be..
I guessed as much. This is just another selfless sacrifice I shall make for Basschat.
 19.
Perhaps we should start a thread on 'hottest bass players of any and all genders'. But I think the moderators would probably implode.
Yes we could seriously do without that. Unless I'm a contender of course.
 20.
They often could use a neck reset , every 50 years or so, typically, and it's an easy enough job for a competent luthier.
And very easy to do at the moment on this particular example.
 21. Gentlemen, If you wish to offer a trade then you need to do so via PM.
 22. Pretty much so. If you stick to the violin bass style and use a run through neck you lose the semi acoustic tone and you can't really use a bolt on because there's nothing solid enough to bolt through. Most classical guitars and all violins\cellos\double basses have a fixed neck joint and don't suffer too badly from it.
 23. Blimey! $51,199 for that?!? Just when I'd settled into the idea that the world is a ludicrous place it downgrades itself even further.
 24.
I ONLY play finger style. Can't play with a pick for toffee
Same here, but I usually hold out for a Mars bar...
