1. I tend to use either the big muff or the boss OD grit. I am assuming that the actual pedals would sound so much better. The wah is not an essential part of my sound as I only use it a few times in our current set
2. Not sure if I would really use a delay pedal. Any particular set of pedals?
3. I am currently using the Zoom B9.1ut multi effects pedal and I am really enjoying it but I am thinking about branching out into a small pedal board. I only really use OD/Fuzz/Distortion, Phaser, Chorus and a little bit of Wah but that's not really important. So what pedals would you recommend? I don't want to be spending an absolute fortune so maybe something like £40-£60 per pedal Many thanks in advance Mike
4. My band have just signed to an "Independent" Record Label/Manager. We've been in touch with Linda for a few months after she played us on her Radio show and we met her at a gig she was organising and she mentioned about wanting to manage us and we thought it over and agreed terms and all the boring legal sh*t. Signed the contract last week. She's been really helpful so far, getting us more air time over in America which I think is good for us as we have a more "American" Hard Rock sound. She will soon be DJing for Midlands MetalHeads who have ties with Download so fingers crossed the right people hear our stuff and we can get a big push next year http://www.facebook.com/pages/Wolf-Band-Management-Music-Promotion/328903567211647
5. Played at Scruffy Murphies in Birmingham last Saturday. We nearly didn't get there due to the breaks on the car decided they didn't want to work properly... Was a bit of a scary drive. The gig it's self was okay. We hadn't had a band practice in like two weeks and I hadn't picked up my bass since the last practice and owwww. Like 3 mins into the 1st song my right forearm cramped up. Just about finished the song before giving it a quick massage.
6. I don't really do anything amazing on stage. Walk around (but not too far from my pedals), little bit of headbanging but for the most part I just try and play the songs.
7. We played an outdoor festival last month and someone in the crowd shot our new song. http://youtu.be/nzAZQOSgI2o
8. Which PSU did you grab from Maplin? My PSU is slowly on its way out (held together with electrical tape atm) and I really need to get a replacement asap
9. I have no trouble with people using my cab and sometimes head if it's all prearranged. I have let a few of my friends have a play with my basses but never during a gig, I don't think I ever would unless it was an emergency and their bass was totally fraked
10. Will grab a fresh battery tomorrow and try raising the pups. I never use the active input on my head
11. I mess around with loops every now and then. Nothing I would ever take to stage but it's just fun to have a noodle
12. I get recognised for being in a band at least once a week. Most likely due to being on the plus side of 6 foot and I'm always topless at gigs.
13. I have an Ibanez SR405 which I love. Plays really well and is my favourite bass to play. She's an active bass and has always had a really low output. I've tried super expensive batteries as well as the cheap ones and no difference. Just wondering how I would go about turning her into a passive bass? I'm pretty sure the pickups are passive so is it just a matter of taking out the preamp and then rewiring the pups?
14. Played an outdoor all day festival in my home town. Was a really good show. All local bands...questionable order to the line up (but no one needs to know band politics). A good 400+ people watching, was more last year but the weather was a bit sh*te this year. There was a T.E. Combo on stage but I decided to go with my Ashdown head and a mates ampeg cab as we weren't going to get a sound check and I know how to get a good sound out of that rig. Sound on stage was TERRIBLE, we only had a 20min set with a quick line check, I couldn't hear any guitar for the 1st song and we only had vox coming thru the monitors...FOH sound was apparently fantastic and people really enjoyed out set (we went slightly heavy this year). Managed to get rid of about 25 albums.
15. Pretty sh*t. Headlined an all day metal fest at the RoadHouse in Birmingham. Played in front of about 15 people. Guitarist broke a string mid way thru the 1st song (which gave me and the drummer time to play some random jazz...we're a metal band...got some funny looks) , His back up guitar kept going out of tune. He had a broken cable which kept crackling and cutting out. Sound was amazing, I used my Ashdown head thru a 4x10 Mark Bass cab....my god that thing pushes air. We had some really positive feedback, several comparisons to Alter Bridge and Metallica which is always a good thing.

17. http://bassdogs.tumblr.com/ Saw this on Facebook earlier on. Currently waiting for a friend to photoshop me something. Would love to see some BCers doing
18. Played at the Asylum in Birmingham. Not a great turn out but the crowd really got into the set. Had a few friends join us on stage to do some backing vocals which was really good fun. I ran my Ashdown head through a 4x10 Ampeg Cab and omg that was the best I have ever heard my bass. Did make a few cock ups but that was down to the lights flashing and me not being able to see my frets
19. So if I just unscrew the speaker and check if anything is resting. I can't cause any more damage that way can I? I'm pretty clueless when it comes to repairs
20. Ok odd question. I have a 2x10 Ashdown cab and the left speaker is buzzing like f*** on the 12th fret. It's not the bass or head and if you press down on the side of the speaker it's stops. do you have any ideas on what is causing it and how to fix?
21. Yeah I'm really happy to be apart of it. Always nice to help out a good cause
