    Did some more tweaking and according to a few friends who have heard me play "I have a really nice Cliff Burton sound". So I'll be keeping those settings.

    Been about 2 years since I've done ANY solo song writing or anything. Recently purchased an M-Audio JamLab USB interface and thought I would attempt to write something new. It's only a short little number and I'm pretty sure it's not finished yet but as a work in progress I thought I would share my work. https://soundcloud.com/michael-khaos-landreth/in-the-distance PS.     Chest height for me. I make sure my bass is at the same height when I'm sat down as it is when I'm stood up

    Having done a bit more research the pups are EMC not EMG and I can't seem to find any info or anywhere that sells EMC pups :-\

    Sadly it's the Tanglewood not the Ibanez. I'm hoping I can get it rewound ASAP. Waiting for the guy to get back to me. I didn't think the cheap pups would be any good but thought I would ask as EMG pups aren't cheap

    Took my bass into a repair shop earlier and I may have a broken humbucker. He's gonna have a further look and see if he can rewire it or if it needs replacing. I have been having a look on ebay and there are pickups on there for around £20. Now I know very little about the electronic side of things but would cheap pickups really be worth it?

    Just had a band practice and my tanglewood bass was distorted when I played my low E. Its always been rather low end heavy and I recently dropped the pickup height to compensate. I tried adjusting eq settings and I even changed leads and basses and everuthing was fine. Do you have any suggestions as to what could be the problem/solution?

    Thank you. We do play the acoustic songs as a full band but we didnt have the time to record them when we went into the studio

    I am looking at selling my ME-50B. I have gigged with this things for a good 3 years now and it's one hell of a beast. Has got a few cosmetic scratches and sadly one of the knobs is missing (it's on the compression selection which I never use). It comes with a PSU (not the official one but still works fine). They are selling for £200+ new and as this one is used and missing parts I am looking for around £120 + postage (about £15?), unless you wish to collect. I will post pictures in a few days but I have a gig tonight and it's all packed away and ready
