1. Rare early USA made Musicman Sterling in trans red with gorgeous birdseye maple neck. I bought this on here from Apothem 3 years ago and it's a wonderful, wonderful bass with a stunning neck to play as well as look at. Sadly I need to thin down to just one bass eventually and sentimental value of something else means this can go at the right price. Condition is very good, some tarnishing of the nickel here and there and a few little superficial dinks on the body, but nothing drastic or through to the wood etc. The bass plays and sets-up great and the electrics (3-band actives) are all in perfect working order. This is an early Sterling, first or second year of production I think, so has the big bridge with the mutes (completely intact and functional) and of course a birdseye neck that I have not seen bettered! Comes with a hardcase (Fender black tolex style) which I assume is original because it fits the Sterling perfectly and is too small for a Precision or Jazz etc. Case has a few nicks here and there, but they're just the normal signs of use. NOW SOLD.

SOLD

PM's replied to bump. No trades I'm afraid, I could use the cash otherwise I'd hang on to it to be honest.

SOLD

Sold Two month old Fender Mustang Bass in vintage white with tort pickguard. Cost me £729, so good price for what is essentially a new bass. I'll even throw in a Fender gig bag and include UK shipping to anywhere other than Northern Ireland or the remote Scottish locations. I'll bung the original receipt in too so the warranty remains intact. Great little bass, plays brilliantly, great big beefy tone, lightweight and looks fab. The Japanese build quality is fantastic too. Sad to see it go, but got a house to save up for, so everything but the absolute essentials can go. PM me any questions, and thanks for looking

11. Can't find a manual unfortunately. Suggests 2ohms in stereo here; http://www.qscaudio.com/products/amps/plx/plx.htm so I assume it'll be ok. Band have got two Peavy Hysis 1xt's and two 115xt's - all 4ohm cabs. So unless anyone can tell me otherwise, it seems I can run the tops off one channel and the subs off the other?
12. Hello, anyone got or used the above amp? Just wondering if I can safetly use it in stereo with four 4ohm cabs, effectively making a 2ohm load? Any advice appreciate, thanks
13. Nostalgically I like Oasis. They're the band I grew up through my teens with, but Liam is now just a comedy caricature of himself. In fact if I hadn't heard of Beady Eye I'd honestly think they were some sort of piss-take of oasis. His vocals are horrendous now and it's a bit disappointing that the band are made up of members of fairly decent past bands, yet can't seem to find a tune between them. All the while Liam keeps announcing a random controversial brain-fart every fortnight to keep them in the public eye. Garbage.
14. Thanks mate! I can get enough pointers from that! Thanks again
15. As the title says, any one got a tab for this? Preferably the Marvin Gaye version rather than the James Taylor one, although I imagine they're similar. Amazing for such a legendary song (and bassline) that I can't find one on the net Thanks in advance
16.
Surely they are more clued up to realise this is a very very niche product?! Where is the LM4 or an improved F500?
Hey if it aint broke...

21.
You could try these people: http://www.proaudioe...hull/yorkshire/ I should make it clear that I have no experience of them or their service.
I'd go with real electronics as others have said they're an authorised Markbass service centre. I think these proaudio guys mainly do DJ/PA stuff.
22. Wow, a lot of hate for stuff on here. Maybe it was all broken! I know Carlsbro are about as fashionable as Noel Edmonds, but the ones I've used in rehearsal dives etc I could always get a good solid if basic tone out of. Also Ashdown have a hell of an artist roster, so they must be doing something right, no? Not heard too many people comment on important factors such as reliability, value for money and sufficient volume for the wattage - are people mistaking 'not to my taste' as 'bad'?
23. I've got an early 90's MIJ Fender P-Bass Lyte which is active with P/J pickups and a J-style neck. Lovely basses these and as the name suggests, very very lightweight as well.

25. Really good. Always like to see a player who knows 'how' to play not just 'what' to play. Very impressed.
