8.
It might be useful to know what the diameter is. I met a bassist at a gig in Bradford with a busted endpin, wonder if he's sorted it? I'll see if I can get in touch with him.
Nice one, thanks. Would seem to be 5/8" diameter - is that correct/standard? Cheers.

 12. I've been sorting through my loft and came across this Cry Baby wah wah pedal that I've had since my guit*r playing days. Serial number seems to be 39424, with no other manufacturing details on it (Dunlop or Vox etc). It still works, but is missing a couple of rubber feet and the on/off switch is a bit stiff. Anyone know it's value / more info please? (Can't find much help on t'interweb.) Many thanks Pete.
 13. Thanks! If anyone's interested in it then let me know-cheers.

 17. Loft clearout continues- 3 wall hangers for guitars/basses etc. No idea how much these are worth - £5 for the lot? Will post, but will be an extra couple of quid. NOW SOLD!
 18. Found this during my loft clearout yesterday. Am guessing it will fit Precisions (and maybe Jazzes too?) - don't know it's origins, but am guessing its a Fender style copy. Its a bit marked but not badly. NOW SOLD! Cheers.
 19. 2 pairs of XLR male to female cables. Black pair - 36" long. Unused. Grey pair - 32" long, with Neutrik and Deltron connectors. Not a clue how much these are worth, so how about offers of around a fiver each pair incl UK postage?
 20. Just found this in my loft - is it called the endpin (or spike) maybe? Came from a bass I used to briefly own, just wondered if its of any use/value to anyone on here? Any advice gratefully received. Thanks. Pete.
 21. Any small mixer/amp should be okay for what you need. I'd recommend Peavey - model XR684 or similar, which can be found s/h for around £150 to £200. Also Yamaha EMX range (512 etc) are good for the money, and sound fine too. Your speakers will easily manage 200 watts per side, in fact the maxim with PA amps seems to be having more watts than speaker handling so you don't need to run the amp flat out therefore getting lots of headroom for a clean clear sound. Unless the amp is seriously wound up full for a long time you should be okay. Good luck!
 22.
I am pretty sure the high input is for passive basses and low for active.
Wot he said. I usually just use the unput which sounds best without 'peaking' -eg on Trace Elliot gear there is a green for ok/red for peak led on the input stage. This lets you obtain the best signal without overloading the preamp. Dont think you will do any damage if you use the 'wrong' input for your instrument-just use your ears to get the best level&sound you can.

Hope that helps P
+1 for stringsandbeyond. Cheapest I could find DR's. Stringbusters always good though - and a UK company.
