I had the body custom made by Guitar & Bass Build around six month’s ago, I paired this with a Mighty Mite “Tele” neck, I can’t remember the make of the tuners but they are decent quality and hold the tuning well, and to give it the punch that I was seeking at the time, I fitted a EMG Geezer Butler Signature Precision Pickup and harness. Thank you, it definitely cost more that the asking price, I've built quite a few basses over the past couple of years and I always lose on them when I move them on, but I enjoy planning them and then sourcing the parts, but most of all, I really get a lot of pleasure actually putting them together and then playing them for the first time, when I find out that they play and sound great, it's gives me such a buzz.

HOME BUILT PRECISION BASS SOLD!!! I built this little beauty just before Xmas, but due to the fact that I am now trying to thin out my collection, this is another one that has to go. It plays and sounds great, and is virtually unmarked because all parts were purchased new. I have had to fill and plug one of the holes in the neck because a screw broke flush with the wood, so I had to dig it out and then fill it, the repaired hole is very strong and makes no difference to the stability of the neck. Definitely great for a candlelight carol service! they are a godsend on badly lit stages as well. Yes the sound is very balanced across the strings, and the variety of tones is immense on these higher end Ibanez's.

The LED's are down the edge of the board and are a sort of yellowy white, they look really nice and attract quite a few favourable comments. They are great for people of my age because my eyes aren't what they were. Here's a better pic.

IBANEZ SR1200 Premium with LED's and Gotoh Drop D Tuner SOLD!!! This bass in superb condition, with just a little belt rash on the back, it has a lovely slim neck which is very easy to play, weighs just 8 pounds, and balances nicely. It’s been upgraded with retrofit LED's from Martin Sims (£450), and also has a Gotoh Drop D tuner (£100). The sale includes the original Ibanez case which is also in superb condition, and even has the original booklet.. This really is a bargain, especially with over £500 worth of upgrades.
