I've decided to put my beloved 1974 vintage Ampeg V4 rig up for sale. It's had little use during my ownership and has been meticulously serviced, most recently on 8-12-22. All valves tested and biased, solder joints on PI touched up, ultra bass and mid switch contacts cleaned and volume 1 pot replaced. Bench tested to full output. Includes custom wheeled flightcase with handle. £1100 The 1978 cab has the original Rola speakers. Bongo 4 string in desert gold, 2004/5 Excellent condition for it's age, with a few barely visible tiny dings and the usual chip on the end of headstock. I've always been a fan of these basses, they sound fantastic and are extremely easy to play. It's had a pro set up with my preferred medium action but would go lower if required. Sad to part with it but I'm only playing short scales due to wrist problems now. Would consider Bergantino CN212 or JMJ Mustang in part ex. Collection or meet up within reason. Came without a case unfortunately, but I have a basic one for travelling.

Stunning Wilcock Mullarkey in vibrant sunburst, with highly figured roasted maple neck. Rosewood fretboard, medium jumbo frets, graph tech nut. Two custom Armstrong pickups, 3 way selector switch, master tone, master vol. Dunlop straplocks. Excellent condition, recent pro set up. These are beautifully crafted basses and that's a great price.

This 76 Fender Precision has been in my possession for well over 20 years, it had a pro refret about 2 years ago. It plays and sounds great, and weighs just under 9lbs on my bathroom scales. Although the body finish was removed before I bought it from A1 music in Preston, I believe the pots, pickups, neck body, pickguard and hardware are all original. I have included pics to verify as I'm not a vintage bass expert by any means. The bass has player wear to the neck but still has the original finish, there is a stable laquer hairline crack near the E tuner. There are no bridge and pickup covers and I only have a generic case for it I'm afraid. All questions/ try out and inspection and collection welcomed. Sorry UK sale and shipping only. Willing to arrange meet up/ delivery within reason. Thanks y'all

Dual 4 inch speakers pump out a sound so huge it's hard to believe it's coming from such a small amp. The Double Four amp also features an auxiliary input for ipad/ipod, mp3 or drum machine, 3 band EQ, headphone out jack and a line out for recording. Phil Jones designed the amp to be ideal for both 4 and 5 string basses. The cabinet of the Double Four BG-75 amp may be as small as a shoe box but it is built to the same standards of all PJB cabinets, heavily braced internally and damped with acoustic damping materials to prevent cabinet coloration that can kill the true sound of your instrument.
