1. im gunna try and raise the money for this, i really, really want it already selling my ipod, what else can face the chop...
2. the difference in sound is minimal, just different harmonies you'l be fine with the current reisue i would think, if you want the 'tool' harmonies though, get a xp100 off ebay
3. £70 drilled is much better
4. psa...with the diago adapter aca's are 12v arnt they?
5. a boss 9v would be fine, they arnt the most established effects pedal manufactures in the world for no reason ya know
6. are bashes ever down south, as in near bristol?? plenty of people on the forum from down here, and i cant drive so i cant go much further! love to meet some of your guys
7. the fact that its not predrilled is a huge put off, and would also put alot of people off buyin one too, alot me people have a soldering kit than a suitable drill. drilled case for the same price would be a much better and more popular option
8. well in that case... edit due to f***in stupid internet security measures, i wont be able to buy the pedal for a few days, so the ultra fuzz is still available
9. ultra fuzz work with active basses?
10. pretty obvious what im gunna say my customised LE 99' fender USA precision special

13.
considering the price on most other byoc things, the only other expensive option i can see in this is the valve which is about a fiver, you can get wooly mammoth clones for £50 which are pre drilled and painted, so i think the price is a bit steep considering the parts for it would prolly only set you back about £25 - 30 tops
+1
14. in the hands of someone who knows how to use it, the odb-3 is a fantastic effects unit
15.
how much???
£115 new, got mine for £80
16. my latest distortion is a expandora 2000r, brilliant for low drive and insanely high gain
17. seems to be a lot of needless aggression in this thread! let the guy have it tuned as he wants, he'l realise as he learns that beadgc would be far more useful, or even eadgcf# a 6 string bass is much harder to play effectivly than a 6 string guitar
18. odb-3 keeps more low end obviously, as it has a blend pot, but this thing beats anything ehx have to offer distortion wise, much more out of control than a big muff will ever be
