FS Boss OC-2

Bump
2. Now it's edited, great price for a top pedal
3.
Akai, start building them again please....... There clearly is a market.
Something i can never get my head round.
4. I sold mine for £150...
5. Boss OC-2, made in Taiwan (identical to the Japanese version apart from the colour of the label. In good condition, couple of scratches and no box but otherwise all good . £65 shipped in the UK Pictures can be found in the pedalboard thread but can get new ones if needed.
6. Only very recently grabbed this off here but, whilst this is a gorgeous phaser, a phaser isn't the sound I want. This is some sort of limited edition version, they are usually blue I think. Great little box, can do really subtle and warm phaser sounds to fast spacey laser gun fun! Print is a little worn in places as photo shows but otherwise perfect. [s]£90[/s] £85 shipped in the UK. Will now consider trades, hit me . /user/KevMan69/media/Snapbucket/EA204A2F_zps0e376344.jpg.html"]

8. Bloody hell, i never realised the Nano was that small!
9. They actually work well as a partnership, my 3Leaf Wonderlove needed a repair and, rather than send to America i was able to send to Finland for repair instead
10. Yeah Spencer builds all the Darkglass range, but the company is still very much Doug's in Finland.
11. Bump Had a couple of trade offers but this is strictly cash sale only
12. Basically the build in the US is of a higher quality, with the relay bypass and improved internal components, otherwise they are the same.
13. That is f***ing beautiful! One day, when i have more money than sense, i am going to hammer that Warwick custom shop!
14. Fantastically simple idea as well, i'v always been bemused as to why volume pedals don't have the option as standard, given the sheer number of bassists who must own at least one active and one passive instrument. Looks quality
15. I need to fund a couple of incoming purchases so i'm going to sell this excellent Arc Effects muff clone. Built in an ace custom enclosure designed to be a modern version of the Sovtek casing, this is a very pleasing Tall Font copy that gets very close to the tone i used to love from my Civil War big muff. The pedal also has a couple of switches inside that allow you to bring the mids back in and a diode lift that gives a huge gain increase which is great for bass. Here is a video demonstrating a few settings compared to the Sovtek: http://pedalsandeffects.com/arc-effects-big-green-%CF%80-vs-sovtek-big-muff/ I don't believe this demo shows the pedal to its full potential in all honesty, but it gives you an idea of it's tone. The pedal has serious low end and the sweep on the tone knob is really great. It's a seriously cool pedal and if money wasn't an issue i would keep it but sadly it is! I would like first refusal on buying this back if someone were to take it as i may be purchasing a Tall Font Russian next month and if its not up to scratch i'm sure i'll want this back! Bought on here a short while ago for £85 so looking to sell for the same, plus shipping which i imagine will be around the £6 mark with current postal prices. I believe it would cost £140+ when you take into account shipping and custom charges so its a real bargain. No offers please as i'll just keep it otherwise. 16. Just ordered one of these, along with a Polytope from prymaxe, can't wait!
17. I would give the 3 leaf wonderlove a try, excellent and very versatile filter.
18. I may already have done mate I'm afraid....although I bet he has had a few as they sell like wildfire when they go up!
19.
Yeah I'll post my findings. Going on videos from Youtube, it seem the W+C has a bit more of a gritty sound and is less gain that the BGP (which is what I'm looking for) so we'll see!
Sounds good! I run my B3K into the BGP and i get a good level of grittyness in the tone that way, but the temptation to pick up a W+C to compare is pretty high!
20. Great start! With second hand prices still so low i'm sure you can grab yourself a german Warwick with a little investment
21.
Good comparison of them here: http://pedalsandeffe...nathan-hischke/
Interesting. Kinda sad that he brushed over the Arc so briefly without messing with the dip switches. Also seemed to have the volume lower than the Wren & Cuff which made it sound like it had less 'umph' in the video, but you can at least get from the video that the clarity on the Arc seems better, assuming they have the tone knobs equal. I'd like to try the Wren & Cuff but the Arc is truly my favourite muff clone i have tried and certainly the closest to the original, allbeit with much more low end and tone options. Umcoo, i'll be interested to hear how you get on!
22. Sorry to bump this, but now experiencing the same issue with my Big Green Pi and its seems the volume drop is resolved with a buffer pedal after the pedal in the loop. , Now, unlike the Mesa, the green pi has enough gain available to crank the volume to make up for the volume loss so i can have the OC-2 at the beginning of the chain where it should be. Is the volume loss the only thing i have to worry about? I cannot hear a tonal difference or any other problems but id like to make sure before i go about using and recording with it only to find i am not getting the best sound i can.
23. I would recommend looking at the Arc Effects Big Green Pie, excellent tall font clone with a superb enclosure and a couple of switches inside offering more than just the stock muff sound. Haven't tried the W&C Tall font but it certainly blows the pickle pie out of the water for me.
