1. I wish i had the means to buy this, jaw dropped when I first saw this, incredible looking bass.
2. Not one of the slimmer neck models, no. slim neck ovangkol thumbs did not appear until 2009
3.
But on a purely personal and subjective PoV my MiK Star Bass is a much nicer instrument to play than any of the MiG versions that I've tried.
How many MIG Star Basses have you tried??
4. Up for sale I have this rather nice Warwick Thumb Bolt-On five string bass. I received Received this bass yesterday as part of a 3 way trade deal on here. It was always the intention to move her straight on as I don't really have a use for it, so I am offering it up now for cash sale or trade (cash either way). Nice example of a Thumb BO, built in 2000, superb condition, no dings to mention. Cracking bit of Ovangkol, with the grain typically shimmering differently depending on what kind of light you have on it. Great player with a nice low action and no fret buzz. Not weighed but seems around 10lb, will confirm if necessary. Comes in its original hardcase, a basic brown strap and a tin of wax. The JANII has its little tabs missing (I haven't seen one that didn't) but nothing to lose sleep over. Full Specs: Specifications: Bass: Thumb BO 5 string Bass Year: 1990 Neck Wood: 3 pcs. 5. Warwick Thumb BO in da house Not sure if she will be staying with me as it was only taken as a partial trade to make a deal happen, but we will see
6. I can sell you a mirror?
I love the Streamer Stage I So much so, I've purchased the one which Kev had for sale on here, which I cannot wait for!!
8. Graeme sold me a pedal, posted when he said he would and exactly as descibed, would certainly recommend! Please as always buddy.
9. if you have any lower value Warwicks you would like to send my way with cash to reduce the loan needed then pm me
10. Looks fretless?
11. Well, if my circumstances change then I will certainly be in touch Will still consider trades in general, but will need at least £800 or so cash my way
12. Bump with price drop. Will also consider trades for iOS/Mac interfaces i.e. Apogee Jam plus cash where appropriate.
13. I absolutely fancy a second Wal, but I know I shouldn't
14. Few trade offers but this one is still here
15. If my Warwick goes this may just be the ticket, but otherwise best of luck with the sale!
16. Yeah, it would probably make me sweat too. I probably wouldn't let any Luthier but Paul anywhere near my Wal if I wanted anything done! Great price this, too Is there much in the way of tonal difference between the two, out of interest?
17. I wouldn't have helped if I thought you would taunt me with the Olive Wal again! This Shedua one is gorgeous though mate, thought about getting it de-fretted by someone other than Paul? May be cheaper?
18. Awesome bass mate! To delete attachments, go to your Profile, My Settings, Manage Attachments. You can delete at will from there.
19. Bump for a price drop, now £2,099 delivered in the UK. This is a great deal and you will not see many of these on the second market for a long time, I reckon!
20.
Darkglass Duality - As new and boxed. Used at home only sparingly over the last few months, excellent pedal as with all Darkglass gear but I am just not using fuzz at the moment. The Siamese Twins The Duality is a unique fuzz pedal that contains two discrete fuzz circuits—a gated saw-tooth wave and a raunchy high-gain sound—which can be mixed together to yield a vast selection of distinct sonic textures. Dimension 11.3×7.5 cm (4.45×2.95 in) Features Level: Sets the volume of the overdriven signal. Drive: Sets the amount of saturation in the overdriven signal. Blend: Mixes the clean input signal with the overdriven signal. The clean signal remains at unity gain while the volume of the overdriven signal is set by the Level knob, allowing for fine control of the blend ratio. Duality: Mixes two discrete fuzz circuits. Set it at minimum for a pure gated saw-tooth wave, or crank it up for a tighter high gain fuzz. WARNING: The Duality has a current draw of 20mA. Only use a regulated 9V DC adapter with a center-negative plug. Due to ecological reasons it does not accept batteries. Unregulated power supplies and/or higher voltages may result in suboptimal noise performance and even damage your unit, voiding the warranty. Both circuits work really well, and especially with the Darkglass drive pedals after it. £160, shipped in the UK.
