1.
Does this have the lakland pickups & circuit ?
This is one of the Skyline's that has the Bartolini pickups before they started putting Lakland p'ups in, not sure about the pre-amp though?
 2. A few nibbles on this but no firm bites yet! Grab it while it's hot!
 3. God I would love one of these! Don't be fooled people, the smaller cones en mass give amazing response for clear and defined reproduction as well as punchy and loud delivery. Wish I had the cash! GLWTS.
 4.
One of these was my very first "real" bass combo. Fond memories of giving the rest of the band decibel sickness. Ultra reliable and tougher than Mike Tyson. GLWTS
Thanks man, yeah they are certainly loud and built like tanks. Mine has been used twice as the back line bass amp for a 2-day music festival and never skipped a beat. Amazingly solid and reliable, just too big to be used as a gig amp for 90% of the venues I'm playing at.
 5. Funnily enough I've seen a few 5'er versions of this bass on here, I always got excited when I saw them thinking of this bass, then realised they were 5's! Wish I had the readies to buy it back off you; it's such a wicked bass. P.s. it's probably more like 6/7 years! Time does fly!!
 6. My old bass?! This is a beauty and well worth the asking price! If I had the cash I'd buy this back as I've always missed it since!
 7.
A true 300W amp and silent running withf no fans. Comes with added bonus of free body-building and fitness training. Yes I had one and a fine thing it was.
Haha, yeah definitely an added perk!
 8.
A superb amp, and well ahead of it's time, fitted with a 15 black widow, also you cab bi-amp, usa built...yes, I would fit castors lol...bargain GLWS LOL! Yeah, should have stuck some casters on it before I inadvertently became a Mr Universe contender! A great and versatile amp indeed!
9. Up for sale is my trusty Peavey Combo 300 which works as a bass or keyboard amp. This is a true 80's workhorse perfect for a practice room or house amp for a gig venue, anywhere where it doesn't need to move often as it's crazy heavy with only one handle on top. Extremely versatile and very loud, it will also accommodate and additional speaker cab as well as having patch/effects loops. Also sports Peavey's patented DDT compression. Used, but not abused with one knob missing. This one does not have casters attached to the bottom, though they would no doubt be possible (and very useful). Specs: 1 x 15" 4 Ohms speaker 210 watt output at 4 Ohms (300 watts at 2 Ohms - with second 4 Ohms cab attached). 8 band EQ, bright and punch push/pull gain controls. Active / Passive instrument input support. Collection from Islington, London; or happy to deliver within 50 miles for cost of fuel. £100 or best offer.

 11. Had a really great experience selling a bass to David; very helpful, friendly and informative. Great communications throughout the deal and made for a nice quick and easy sale. Cheers David, enjoy the LJ!
 12. Now sold; thanks for all the interest and inquiries; David - enjoy the bass!
 13. No love for this little beauty at a ~40% of retail price?! We live in hard times Bump for the electric blue velour case and Olympic white body combo! Sexylicious!
 14.
I really do miss this bass
Such a beauty in every way. I'm interested in trying out an Xotic as the build to me seems incredibly similar; I wonder if they would play as nicely?
 15.
nothing specific, I have 4 basses for sale at the moment - the only J being the Lakland DJ4 (but I think you already owned one?): http://basschat.co.u...nd-skyline-dj4/ Cheers mate
I have to admit, that is a fine looking DJ4! I've got a potential deal on the cards, but feel free to PM me with an offer if you're interested.
 16.
Guess you're not looking for trades, are you?
Just out of interest, did you have anything specific in mind? If it's with some cash my way, I'd certainly consider suggestions...a 70's re-issue J bass with binding and block inlays would certainly pique my interest.
 17. Oooh, that is lovely. Love the tonal versatility that you get from the Sterling basses and the contoured body makes them a lot lighter and more comfortable than their 'ray brothers. Good luck with the sale!
