Yep they keep pulling it and I haven't even mentioned the 'R' word or even shown a full picture - this time I was told the very small picture of the bass which incidently showed no 'cresting waves' or other product identifiable names or shapes or associated artists [i]infringed copyright[/i].... hmmm...

Some more pics, including the dings on the back which I have circled, its a nice weight and comfy to play with a great neck profile, this is like an ex-demo model in your local music shop but much cheaper! 375 gets you a bargain! Don't forget this comes with deluxe Fender bag and tags.

I'm only interested in selling this as I have bought something else and there are too many basses here!

Superb Korg D1600 16 track DAW great condition, this has all mod cons phantom power and can record 8 tracks at once. It also has USB to upload wavs, etc. No manual but available online. Looking for 180 for it postage extra here are the specs -

I bought this the other day on the 'bay but then managed to pickup a JV Squier so one has got to go. This is a MIM 70s Jazz in excellent condition with tags, deluxe gigbag, etc. There are a couple of marks on the back but nothing nasty. It's in a black finish as you can see, a pretty cool looking Jazz for a good price. 385 am looking for with postage extra if needed.

I must add this is a lovely bass to gig as it is so comfy to play and sounds great within the mix of a live band.

Here is my John Birch 4000 bass dating from the early 70s, a recent purchase and it really is a beautiful sounding, playing & looking bass but not really for me. The bass is in superb condition and is well set up, other than minor scratchiness to a couple of the pots electrics are sound, the pickups are JB engraved 'hyperflux' types. This really is a one off vintage UK classic from the early John Birch/Diggins partnership (see thread in gear section) and very collectable. More pics available, the serial is in the wiring route under the large rear white scratchplate, the rear scratchplate is slightly warped as is general with these basses. John Carling who now owns John Birch has verified that this is an early JB bass he also sent me a John Birch headstock sticker for the TR cover. I have recently added a thumbrest as it suits my playing position better but this can be removed. All is original to my knowledge. Frets are fine, plenty of life, trussrod fully functional, bass plays well right up the neck. A few minor dings, beautiful through neck, a lovely bass. I'm looking for 585 cash or trades plus cash my way so send your offers. I'm particularly interested in a decent 5 string or a Fender Jazz (roadworn or one with with a maple fingerboard). I used this on a recording, it sounded fantastic so for the moment I'm keeping it so if the moderators would kindly remove the thread...thanks for all your interest.

Bump before the bay

Here's a nice cheap Washburn 5 string perfect for fiver newbies or as a second instrument. Very nice condition and set up, there is one ding at the side and the usual wear from playing. Frets are good, neck is true and it sounds pretty good too, passive p bass style pickups so no surprises tone wise. The neck is very flat with good string spacing. It's very light so easy on the shoulder. I can post at cost within the UK. Its a workhorse for a good price, sorry for the iphone pics.
