  7. It is my pleasure to start off Colin's feedback. Recently sold Colin my TH500. Absolute top bloke, all monies transferred as requested. Great coms felt like I had known Colin for years. Deal with Colin with utmost trust a great representative of this forum. Enjoy the amp mate Wayne
  8. Doubt he needs the money, I would imagine its all about trying to live with his peer's but this damages a great reputation. I think he would know he is sinking fast and the only enjoyment is hanging with other musicians. I would suspect this is tearing him apart. The guy has been playing Butlins Holiday camps and dying on his derrière. As a fan of what he achieved I wish he would call it a day and just write songs, but as you say if he is still enjoying it then power to his elbow. In the end the audiences will determine how long he can sing live.
  9. This breaks my heart,TOTO is still my favorite band of all time.No idea what Bobby is like off stage but has always seemed like a decent fella from what I hear. You would think close friends would have a word to save his embarrassment. I read somewhere he is going deaf.Lets think folks if someone told us we are no longer cutting it but a few people blew enough smoke up our derrière to convince us otherwise, would we give it a little longer than we should just because we can't let go!! I'm sure there are a million avenue's he could go down in the music industry but there ain't nothing like being out there.
  10. Could I really justify the weight to go with my new cab. Hmmmm

  15. If every body in the band is occupying the same frequency space it just becomes a numbers race.In one of my earlier bands I threatened to cut off our very busy keyboard players left hand ,then the guitarist threatened to cut off is right. Improved his playing no end.Strangely after that we could all hear ourselves a little better. There are so many variables in judging volume watts can sometimes be just a selling point.Just trust to your ears in the end and if what you hear makes you happy, job is a good'un.IMHO the Elf punches above its weight (no pun intended) and would match some other amps boasting bigger numbers, speakers play a huge part in audibility double your speakers and you audibly sound louder because your pushing more air,but I'm not trying to teach anybody to suck eggs hear. Years ago a 100watt H/H and 2x15 felt like it would take the wall out .Would I swap that set up for today's smaller, lighter, efficient gear. In a heart beat.
  16. This was mine,Kev is a really nice fella also a very reliable and trustworthy basschat contributor so buy with confidence.Have a few more pics GLWTS fella.
