1. I've had some interest but not takers yet. I nearly put it on ebay at the weekend but couldn't bring myself to do it. Bump for a great price and let me know if you have any trade ideas....fretted or fretless, I'm open to suggestions but I won't add cash so don't offer me a bass worth more the £1200 unless you want to give me some of the bass as a Christmas present!
2. Thanks for the kind words...It really is a great bass! Here are a couple of recordings, the first is a recording of a rehearsal for a Church Service which went out on BBC1 a few years ago. The signal is taken from the Little Mark Bass II D.I. output set flat with the pickup selection rolled to more bridge than Neck. https://soundcloud.com/simbass-2/you-are-good The Second one is just to show the versatility of the bass. A lot of people still associate Warwick with Rock but this is a snippet of me playing a Jazz standard. The Recording is just a hand held zoom in a Cambridge 'Basement' at a Jazz gig so is not great quality but you get the idea. https://soundcloud.com/simbass-2/am-i-blue Any other questions let me know. Anyone is welcome to come and have a go on 'Great Uncle Bulgaria' (that's his name) I'm in south Lincolnshire
3. Never did get round to putting it on ebay...any takers on the new lower price before I really do put it on evil-bay? £950 + delivery (or meet close to South Lincolnshire)
4. I really don't want to resort to Ebay for this beautiful bass. Price Dropped to reflect this...or make me an offer. Cheers

6. New Pictures: (I'm no photographer but these are done on a proper camera and are a bit better. If you want to see a pic of anything specific let me know.) 7. Thanks, dots for side marks. I'll try and get the photos sorted today.
8. £950 + delivery (or meet close to South Lincolnshire) [s]£1050[/s] [s]£1250[/s] Evening All, It is with regret that I am selling my Warwick Streamer LX 6 string Fretless Broadneck bass. I was made in Germany in the mid 90's (1996 I believe), during what many consider the "Golden Years" for Warwick. This is a remarkable example of a potentially unique bass (I've never seen another one like it, although there must be the odd one out their somewhere) I have owned it since the Summer of 2004 and it has served me well in many settings from Rock bands to Newcastle University Jazz Orchestra (pictured: that's me as Postman Pat!), Jazz quartets and I've even played it Live on BBC 1 as part of a special 'Pentecost' Service. It has the Growl of these early Warwicks but the switch-able active/passive electrics allow you to beautifully emulate a smooth Jazz Double Bass on this gorgeous ebony finger board. Unfortunately I just don't play as much as I used to so finances are forcing me to sell. £1050 + delivery (or meet close to South Lincolnshire) - (Warwick advised me to insure it for £2,500-£3000) All parts (hardware/pickups/electronics/fingerboard) are absolute originals. There is no buckle rash, or damage. This bass is over 15 years old but I can only find 1 mark to show for it (pictured: on the lower horn) It comes with a premium 3" wide padded leather strap (these are not light basses), official Warwick wax (I have cared for the wood well!), a hard case and is fitted with Warwick Black label strings. If you have any questions at all then please ask away, you're welcome to come and try it out (Bourne, South Lincolnshire nr. Peterborough) Photos are from camera phone, I will try to get some better ones up soon. Full Spec: (to the best of my knowledge) 6 String Ebony Finger Board Flamed Maple Body Bolt-on 'Broadneck' 5 piece wenge neck 2 soap bar MEC Pickups Volume(pull/push active circuit)/pickup selector/bass/treble 34" Scale 2 Piece Warwick bridge New Pictures: (I'm no photographer but these are done on a proper camera and are a bit better. Bear in mind this is a 17 year old bass with no gloss protection so this very good condition, I just want to be totally transparent in the sale. 9. Just sold a DOD FX25B bass pedal to Jose. He was a pleasure to do business with, paid super fast, and always responded to communication very quickly. Would gladly buy/sell from him at any point in the future. Quality Guy! Thanks!
10. Started on 4 string, then did a straight swap from 4 to 5 a decade ago (never owned a 4 string since), then added a 6 string fret-less. with a brief spell of only owning 6 strings (one fretted/one fret-less). I'm now firmly settled on a 5 string fretted for 90% of the time and then the 6 string fret-less for all Jazz gigs, for a lush woody fretless sound on the warwick ebony finger board. I feel a 6 string fret-less is just too out of place in all over situations, but 5 strings fit in comfortable everywhere these days, can't afford a decent 4 string as well so I don't even bother thinking about it. (certainly wouldn't have a problem dropping my 6 string if I found a nice 5 string fret-less equivalent but I love my Warwick too much...because of the bass not because of the 6th string)
11. DOD FX25B Envelope Filter In "As New" Condition, I think I've only ever actually had it out of the box once in my life and that was for 30 mins to play with it when I first got it. Never used it since. I guess I'm just not an effects person. In "like" brand new condition in box with manual and no marks at all. Feel free to ask any questions and let me know if you want any more pictures. £40 Plus P&P due to immaculate condition (free to collect from south Lincolnshire)
12. Is the Bass a Guitar? Definition of Guitar: A musical instrument having a flat-backed rounded body that narrows in the middle, a long fretted neck, and usually six strings, played by strumming or plucking. That describes my bass therefore yes it is a guitar.
13. Hope this helps http://www.studybass.com/tools/chord-scale-note-printer/
14. I did exactly the same about 3 years ago...always used to play my Warwick fretless in passive and edging towards the neck with flatwounds for (what I thought was) a more Double sound. My then bass teacher showed me his fretless which was set up the opposite...round wounds - 80% bridge pickup and all active turned on and playing near the bridge...I quickly changed my entire tone over night and learnt to change my finger style (and placement on the strings) to get a mellow sound when needed.
I've always sought a deep warm mellow tone, may be slightly dub. Over Christmas this has changed radically. I've started playing near the bridge and developing a sharp attacking and with more treble tone. (a result of getting an fx box). So virtually overnight my whole sound has changed a lot. And I like it. It's probably the tone I've been looking for for ages and not realised that I was looking in the wrong place.
15.
just a shot in the dark here, does the 1996 november issue have something about a Cloud Axim amp? trying to find out about it...
I had a look through the magazines last night...I can't yet find anything about a Cloud Axim amp, do you know if it was a full review? Or was it in the "New Gear" Section?
