3. I'm selling a Maple neck/fingerboard for a Pbass. i bought it a few months ago from here, http://www.dangleberrymusic.co.uk/p-498-dr...ingerboard.aspx. It has been drilled for a Squire body, so i have no idea if it would be ok for any other Pbass, £42 Plus a couple of quid for postage.
4. Looks a good buy for the money. especially for a pick up, nice one.let us know how it sounds.
5. Why these days? if have Spotify you can start with, say. Elvis, work your way through the sixties with the Beatles, Stones. Seventies. The Stones . The Who. Led Zep. The Eighties. Well, you get the picture. there are a million artistes who you could play along with. i take an hour or so every night and play along. Spotify is a wonderful thing.

8. There must be thousands of bands playing up and down the country every weekend. the Countries broke, its a wonder the tax man hasn't jumped in before now.
9. Talking to a couple of mates who are in a band last night and they were telling me that a guy who runs a pub that both their band and ours play at has had a visit from the tax man and for some reason he given the tax man contact numbers belonging to all he bands that have played. this apparently is for the year 07. we played there once that year. i am going to get all of the story if i can before i say any more. this could be interesting. does anyone have any experience of the tax man and their band?
10. And how many times ha this happened to you, geoffbyrne
11. I was reading BigRedX's thread in Repairs and technical and he stated that he does not like jack plug fittings in amp to cabs over 50 watts. rather than hijack that thread can someone tell me if there is an issue with this. i haven't heard this before.

13. She has a decent enough voice to make it on her own.
14. Does anyone on here play with a metal pick? must play havoc with the s/plate. not to mention the strings!.
15.
Yeah that's pretty common. What you need to do is arrange a named day for delivery with the seller, and make it one when the missus isn't in. After delivery you take it (and all packaging) out to the car and transport it to your safe place.
Sounds like your speaking from experience.
16.
Flowers for Mrs Beerdragon tomorrow?
If flowers is all it takes for you're a lucky bugger.
17.
You can send it to my house.
what turned out to be sort of a joke is not funny, the seller refused to send anywhere but my address. Saying he;s got got more protection as a seller and if anything goes wrong then he's not covered through paypal. . Fairynuff.
18. Welcome to Basschat billbern, our resident welcomer does not appear to be here at the moment, having her hair or nails done or something. we have a gear porn section here so post some photos if you can.
19.
Ive got an Epi T bass. I hate the thing. Yes it does look cool but the neck will never stay straight, the pickups are woolly and indistinct and ive had to place some plastic under the E string to keep it at a height to prevent fret buzz on every fret. It's been set up and re setup but its never been right. It's now gathering dust in the spare room. Having said all that I did have a look at the T bird pro. They look fit. I hope the gibbo corporation have sorted the quality issues.
I Hope the Tokai are are better build than the Epiphone. I will give it a go and if i dont like it i'll try and shift it on ebay. There are are a few sites showing how to move the strap nut including a thread on basschat.
20.
You can send it to my house.
Congratulations, you are the first.
