1.
That'll be 40kg per castor, won't it? In which case they should be fine.
Yup.... 40kg per castor. Got a set of these on my MB cab and they're great. They'll be fine..... trust me, I'm a nurse!!
2. Top trade the other week. Really pleasant guy to deal with and hopefully both parties extremely happy with their new toys. Good luck with all them knobs!!!
3. I have my own personal bass utopia!! See sig for specs.
4. The bridge is a 'pre-flea' which dates it to 91-95. The last bridges to feature the mutes. Also the string tree dates it to that era.... earlier Rays had a different positioning. Probably a typo for a 93.
5. Made in Korea..... assembled in SLO USA. Take a leaf out of 'The Jerk'....... sh*t and shinola!! They're good......but they're not a 'Ray.
6. SOLD!! Pending inspection, satisfaction (ooh, yeah baby!) collection and payment.
7. All PM's replied to and some people considering a purchase. In the meantime some photos for you...... sorry for the quality.... taken with my camcorder. Two of everything, apart from the mixer and effects, obviously.
8. Got no use for this anymore so it's all up for sale. All pictures are stock google images until I can find the power lead for my camera!! The whole system works perfectly and provides stunning clarity with very impressive SPL's. First up... HK Audio ELIAS active PA system Consists of two subs and two satellite speakers with adjustable poles. If you have never heard a HK Audio PA, then I'd suggest you A/B them against another reputable make and I'm sure you'll be extremely impressed. Back of sub.... Each sub has three separate amps which run the sub, the tops and a third amp to double up on the tops or run a separate monitor. Peavey RQ2314 mixer 14 Channel mixer. All channels working as they should. Comes housed in a custom made cabinet. Aphex 104 Aural Exciter Type 'C' With 'Big Bottom'..... makes everything really fizzy and sparkly!! Zoom RFZ-2000 Digital reverb and multi effects unit. Nice assortment of delays and reverbs with other nifty effects. Soundtech ST31 Mono 31 band Graphic EQ used to alter the monitor signal Berhinger Ultrapatch P2000 patchbay For connections etc. The Mixer and all of the effects are all enclosed (units rackmounted) within the purpose built cabinet which sits approx 6 units high. Everything is connected up to work out of the box. 200w 8ohm Wedge monitors X 2 Custom made wedge monitors each equipped with a 200w 12" driver and 1" tweeter. 2 x speakon connectors for daisy linking. Made from 18mm ply and painted black. These have never let me down and sound superb. 150w 8ohm full range cabinets X 2 Generic 'no-name' full range cabinets in grey. 15" driver, 4" horn and 1" tweeter. I used these for side and drum fills. All patch cables and speakon leads for all speakers included (over £100 worth of cables). So there you are....... everything you will need for a full band PA and you can fit it all into a hatchback car with ease (seats down of course). The PA cabs show obvious signs of wear and tear but they function perfectly. I do have some replacement cabinet foam to cover all the speakers, so I'll throw that in as well. This has served me and my band very well and we often received favourable comments from the audience about the clarity of the sound. I think £1,150.00 collected is a fair price for this whole set up, considering you will not need to buy anything else. System can be seen and heard working so that the buyer is 100% happy with eveything. Based in Brandon, in Suffolk. I'll be happy to answer any queries so PM away!! Many thanks, Jamie.
9. This should shift for sh*t hot money!!! Great amp and good luck! I fried one of these when I was a lad by playing a bass through it........ I know!
10.
EBMM necks are natural maple, maple boards or rosewood, the necks are oil finished, silk or matt, so you need to do a bit of maintainance on them twice a year or they get grubby. Plenty of info about this on the EBMM site/forum. My neck is definitely not same cut of wood as fretboard but its well matched. Think - how would they get the truss rod in there? No skunk stripe on the back, like a strat.
The necks actually leave the factory 'unfinished'..... no oil. For care and maintenence EB recommend gun oil applied very sparingly with excess removed immediately.
11. You'll be hooked. Best neck I've ever played. Sound wise, it's a bit of a one trick pony....... but oh my, WHAT a trick!!!
12.
In an ideal world yes, but not when you are incharge of a large cargo ship and 58 crew members.
And you're back tomorrow? Are you just popping up the corner shop for a packet of fags or something?
13. Did you win the bass off ebay and was the auction No Reserve (NR) by any chance? Similar neck to a P Bass.... width tends to vary on models between 39-41.5mm. Have a wander over to www.ernieball.com and duck into the forum. Careful there though, don't mention other brands.

15. I have a 1986 Charvel (Jackson) Model 3 guitar in pearl white (really sparkly!!) which I was going to give to my Son. However, he had decided that he doesn't like floating bridges and is sticking with his current crop. The guitar is identical in every way to this photo I found on google..... when I find my camera I will get some decent shots up if someone shows some interest. It is equipped with a Kahler tremelo (locking nut) with the brass rollers on the saddles (which indicates a rare early model) and everything works as it should for a 24 year old guitar. The cover plate for the trem springs is missing and the tremelo is set up with just two springs (EVH). The nitrose finish has aged into a gorgeous nicotine yellow. There are a few knocks and chips as one would expect, but no major gouges. Neck is straight and true and the action is lovely. Comes with a hard case. These crop up now and again on the bay, mainly in the US, where they tend to go fro around £320 - £450 depending on condition. Basschat price of £290.00 delivered

20. Now on Ebay but still open to a (decent) offer on here.
21. Last bump before ebay, if not sold on here this weekend. You could always make me an offer...... the most I can say is no thanks.
