  1. Full dimensions are now added to the website.
  2. Some videos of it in action here: https://www.instagram.com/midium_official/
  3. Was the physics class using a low pass filter perhaps to remove upper harmonics reducing everything to a sine wave at the fundamental. That’s not compression.
  4. The latter, as in MIDI (though it’s obviously a wordplay on “medium”).
  5. One has to pay for quality. There’s a lot of (unpaid) work gone into this. There isn’t anything else like this out there.
  6. 230mm x 151mm x 77mm at its highest.
  7. That I do not know yet. That info will be posted when it’s been worked out.
  8. Good point, these need adding somewhere! I’ll post them when I get home.
  9. The MIDI foot controller I’ve been working on is here:
  10. The foot controller I’ve been working on is now here:
  11. As some of you may know from other threads, I’ve been working on a MIDI controller with @RigorMortensfor the last couple of years. EDIT 17/01/23 As you may know, we exhibited the device at Synthfest UK in October 2022 under the name Midium. Sadly, a few weeks later there were unforeseen complications which meant we had to change the name. After many hours of work, this change has now gone through. The pedal is now known as MORTRIX. New website is www.mortrix.io
  12. Take a look at the Source Audio Mercury (or Lunar/Gemini). They all do the same sounds, just the top-level knobs differ. Chase Bliss Spectre is a through-zero flanger, though discontinued I think. Analogue with digital controls. TC electronic do a flanger.
  13. I’m sure that if you’re looking at this, you know that Morningstar makes the best currently-available MIDI controllers. Fully-featured, great support and constantly evolving. This one I’ve had from new and has only ever been used on my desk at home and so is in pristine condition. It comes boxed with all the original bits included. Loaded with the latest firmware and ready to go. This has been the centrepiece of my MIDI setup for ages. The only reason I’m contemplating letting this go is that I’m downsizing to a smaller 6-button Morningstar controller. Also, I’ve been codeveloping a foot controller and that is almost at the point where I can use it instead of this. Price includes fully-insured Special Delivery to any mainland UK address. Further pictures/info available upon request.
  14. Probably best to correct the spelling of “Reflex” in the thread title so the search engine can find it.
  15. How versatile do you need it to be? Are you bothered if it’s analogue or digital? Do you need presets? Are you on a tight budget?
  16. Due to go and see the bass with a test spray on it on Saturday. Mixing the paint to get it to dry close to my colour sample was tricky.
  17. Ooh, really not far from my family then.
  18. Where in County Durham are you?
  19. My guess is someone used a screwdriver or similar to do the truss rod adjustment and gouged a chunk out. Lovely bass.
  20. Thanks! I’ve not got loads of free time at the moment as I’m doing a bunch of beta testing and gearing up to launch a MIDI controller I’ve been co-developing for the last couple of years. Just submitted some corrections to the web copy so might have something to share in the next week or so, maybe sooner.
  21. Do you mean detuning one oscillator against the other to get beating/phasing? Yep, that’s cool. At some point I should go back and program some more sounds for the C4 but I’ve been mega busy with other (cool) stuff.
  22. The C4 doesn’t do PWM (which was a big oversight). FI does.
  23. @Jonathan Bee it might be worth choosing a new thumbnail image for your ad so it reflects the pedal being sold - it’s still showing an OC-5.
