    What is the accuracy of the other tuners? The FI is accurate to 3 cents (i.e. three hundredths of a semitone) which is plenty accurate. It’s stable for me.

    What will you be running the expression pedal through? There aren’t that many expression pedals that work as a stand-alone unit.

    Moog EP-2 or EP-3 works fine.

    How so? It’s what drives the pitch information for the synth so is pretty accurate. Remember that vibrating strings do vary in pitch depending on how hard they are struck. It’s definitely accurate enough for normal pitch variation in struck strings.

    Now get yourself something that can send expression signals to the FI. Cheap solution is a Source Audio Hub. I just picked up a Morningstar MC6 and it’s going to add so much potential.

    Bump for a lovely bass. I had the pleasure of playing this last night. Not for me though as it’s confirmed that I really prefer rosewood boards. I spent a very sociable evening nerding over basses and pedals with Alex. He’s a lovely, friendly guy and I can say with certainty that whoever buys this bass will have a smooth and hassle-free transaction.

    Thanks. Yes, the tracking is markedly improved in the v3 firmware compared to v1.

    Source Audio Lunar Phaser (or Gemini Chorus or Mercury Flanger - all the same sounds are available on all 3 pedals, choice is dictated by which knobs you want/need more).
