  1. Finally managed to get round to posting this. So happy to have one of these again.
  2. Thanks. I do really like this version but am looking for the Bass Compressor (as opposed to the Compact Bass).
  3. Gonna be like buses now as I see there’s another listed here today. I’m on a big preamp search and can’t realistically hang onto all of them as funds are needed to get the next one to try. I really like this one (I’m only using the B15 setting). Thinking I might end up getting the Venture V3 amp head which has all of these features except the compressor and IRs, neither of which I’m using. In excellent condition with original box, paperwork and power supply. (More pictures to follow.) Currently the user IR slots are populated with 3 excellent Shift Line IRs: their B15 Heritage and their two SVT 8x10s. (Can return to stock before posting if required.) Price includes free mainland UK delivery via Royal Mail Special Delivery.
  4. Based on the Korg MS-20 filter these are great. Only reason I moved mine on is the inability for all parameters to be stored as preset data (frustratingly some key ones aren’t included). Wonder if you have mine (mine has an personalised thankyou note from Ryan inside the baseplate). Well worth adjusting the resonance trimpot if you haven’t done so as you can get those cool disco-style self-oscillating bloops.
  5. Hi folks, I have put wanted ads up for some of these things but was wondering if there’s anyone who might be willing to loan me any of the following pedals for a few days. I’m more than happy to reciprocate with loans of a few interesting pedals I have or to cover all postage in the case that I have nothing that interests you. I have already had some great experiences doing this from a couple of very kind BC members. I’ve also been loaning out my Artifakt to a list of people for the past few months as a way for them to try one out with having to stump up big sums. Thanks in anticipation. The things I’d like to try are: Aguilar Tonehammer v2 Markbass Vintage Pre Arkham Oracle Noble Audio Kitchen Fake Plastic Trees Chase Bliss/ZVEX Bliss Factory Warm Audio Pedal76 Origin DCX Bass (Origin Bass Compressor - sorted) (Origin BassRig Super Vintage - sorted) (Shift Line Olympic MKIIIS - sorted) (Jad Freer Capo - sorted) (Sushibox Grand Slampegg - sorted)
  6. I bought Leon’s BassRig ‘64 last weekend. All details were sorted quickly, communication was great, pedal was posted out on the arranged day with the tracking. Pedal arrived well-packed and in the described condition. It sounds lovely. I’d happily transact again. Many thanks.
  7. @AinsleyWalker has a wanted ad for this. Edit, sorry, he’s after the 2.0 version.
  8. Nice. I’d like to try one of those soon. Just got its sibling today.
  9. Please support this so that it makes it into production.
  10. And as if that weren’t bad enough, I spent a night in A&E with him last night after he flipped out and I had to call police and ambulance to assist.
  11. Definitely not, he’s violent enough as is (and I'm not joking, he’s seriously hurt me a few times in the last few months and I’m desperately trying to get help with him).
  12. That would likely end in disaster. For an illustration of what I’m working with, I told him to take it in from the back doorstep, to which he genuinely (and not not the first time in recent history) asked, “which one is the back door?” 🤦🏻‍♂️
  13. Digging the retro LCD letters.
  14. Teenage door-answering ineptitude means I now won’t get the BassRig until Saturday. A similar fate almost befell the Octabvre MKII I managed to snag but fortunately UPS left it on the doorstep and I was able to ring said teenager as soon as I got the email notification so it could be brought into safety. There may be a board photo tonight.
  15. Nice to see Origin continuing to check in on the parallel thread I created on Talkbass for this. Basically acknowledging the desire but letting us know it takes about two years to develop these products once they start. Let’s hope the next project they start is this.
  16. I’ll hopefully be getting to borrow one of these soon when I have a bit more time to spend with it.
  17. Just been sent pictures of the first pre-production mini-housing units today. Looking nice.
  18. This is still ongoing and has crept back to over 20. I didn’t keep the VBO for long as ended up scoring a Japanese OC-2 which sounds nicer. Also finally managed to track down another Octabvre MKII (silly money but it’s my biggest pedal-selling regret). I swear, no more octavers for me. I’ve opened the Pandora’s Box of preamp pedals now though. Don’t know how I avoided that for 30 years! Also got a Chase Bliss Billy Strings Wombtone coming which will rectify my one other pedal-selling regret (Wombtone MKII). Still would like to get a Cali76 compressor too. And I just know I’m going to end up buying another analogue lowpass envelope filter at some point. If I could find a not-ridiculously-priced MuTron/Tru-Tron 3X that’d see me right.
  19. It’s possible to buy the full mute kits and make this fully operational.
  20. I haven’t received it yet. Hopefully tomorrow or the day after (weather permitting). In all honesty, my C4 has been in the box for about a year. I would have thought that something which passed more high end would be preferable. I got to try the FI and C4 through a Barefaced BBII and a TC RH750 when I bought my P bass from @GrammeFriday a few years ago (hi, Nick!) and it sounded absolutely glorious; it really let all the brightness of the oscillators through as well as the meaty bottom end.
  21. This is my second time selling Peter a piece of gear. As before all went smoothly, promptly and with friendly communications. Many thanks.
  22. I haven’t tried it yet. Artifakt is currently on my synth board so haven’t used it on bass for a while. I’ll check it out when I next put it back on my bass board.
