1. If you score a Proco juggernaut cheap on ebay (which you can cause they kinda suck) you can use the fx loop on that and blend with its own effect off, or you can do what I do and use it to blend two signals just using the fx return (which on some is labelled wrong).
2. I like the growl from my DHA valves, but they have to warm up and such and change sound when they are fully warm, all the valve joy.
3. Well, my nerdy audiophile mate said this is a good deal. But I have a nice enough amp. I'm putting the word about though.
4. I've killed a few hifi speakers playing bass through them. Can't reccomend it.

6. My first bass, beat up and gifted to me. I zebra striped it to cover the worst of the holes.
7.
Totally off topic, but they should make a mix of the two and call it a phlanger. Just for the name. Oh, erm.. i spose I should cover my ass: Bump!
My guitarist has one of those, called is a phlaser, its got all sorts of switches to change the order they come in and such.
8. Hmmm, that sounds more traumatic than is funny. I only came here to make a joke about a shortscale with a huge bottom end I've been GASing over recently.
9. OK, anyone got any good ideas how these cabs can go somewhere before I have to move house?
10. I have an EMG 35HZ pickup, with the 5 pins, but no cable for it. Anyone have a spare or some way I can figure which pin is what so I can just solder wires on?
11. Aaargh, wait till I sell my cabs dammit.
12. Damn, I've got a red torty guard still waiting to go on my white P, gotta sort that.
13. Kinda wishin I bought this instead of the peavey stack I was hoping to get my monies back on the cabs with. What does everyone think of biamped rigs?
14. If they've been in hospital, they might have had to go back. In which case, think of someway to not feel bad about it, and get your money back outta ebay.
15. Bump cause bunch of PMs and no solid offers. I'll also add that Shockwave is selling a similar 2x10 very nearby, and the 2 x 2 x 10 end on end give you a small footprint, good sound dispersal, all the moving air of a 4x10 and speakers nearer ear level, which is ideal for the small stage.

17. I was watching it cause I like the style, if its going, let me know, but also say why its going so soon. Thats a pretty good indicator that a chunk of your money is safe.
18. Pick up a second hand Boss ME50B, decide what you like, and sell it on to the next perosn who wants to try pedals. For metal, you can't go wrong with the Boss ODB3, most bands I've seen use one for their bass drive, eq and blend mean vast amounts of tweak if you don't like the first sound you get.
19. Edit: double post, please remove.
20. Actually pretty sick of seeing it now.
21. I'd really like to be able to do that, but I know the most useful thing I'd get from doing it would be picking up other peoples basses, doing that, then going 'Nah, don't like it, plays a bit slow.'
22.
I put one on my fender jaguar, it was like putting a new set of tuners on it really smooth highly recommended especially if you use a Hipshot d-tuner
+1, Local music shop sold me Graphtec for same price as normal cause bod didn't know the difference. They do indeed me my detuner happy.
23. Get naked. Jump off stuff. DDD summed it up best on anotehr forum:
Originally Posted by DDanDevious View Post theres nothing wrong with that man. one way or the other you are still playing the bass right? Whether or not you write the part, or someone else does, its up to you to play it with conviction, to convey its emotion, and rock the hell out of it. Plus when doing only root notes, its way easier to jump off of stuff. I feel that this is important. Chicks dig guys that jump off of stuff. They will see you bounding about the stage, like a gazelle hopped up on pixy stix and laxatives and they will say "wow, the sexy hott bass player gots the mad ups, I bet he's great in the sack" and the rest is, as they say, history. rock. 24. Stay away from Mr. Sheen, that has silicon in and that makes finishing pro's angry. Everyone hates silicon. Unless it hasn't got silicon in and I made that up. Natural beeswax, Rustins wood finishing products are all good.
25. That would be making me regret, but turns out I have to sort a deposit on a new room, so good thing I didn't jump on it really.
