5. I bought this off Ebay from Japan a few years ago and it has been my back up gigging bass for that time . It has actually been used very little by me although I have gigged with it a couple of times and it has always been great. It was bought from a reputable dealer as a late 70's Tokai - all original. It has a Jazz profile neck, sounds great - has a few nicks and small dings, one on the neck just below the first fret ( I have tried to photograph this ) but it is very smooth and not in a place that affects playing, there are also a couple of white patches (the rest of the body has aged to cream) where a transfer was on the bass at some point. All in all a great player and great sounding bass. Pricing is pretty difficult I find and i would welcome any input on this from those more in the know than me on this type of bass but I think about £275 plus delivery is pretty good?? (comments welcome )

 19.
That's an extremely generous price, I reckon if you put that on the bay and offered to send to Europe (where the exchange rate makes it very cheap and where Sadowsky seems to be a magic word) you'd do a lot better? Good luck either way, I'd love to get my hands on it! I love the Sadowsky tone, I just didn't like having so much money tied up in one bass. Seems to me you're offering someone the perfect solution. Chris
Chris - yes thank you - I could well do better but will see for a bit - thanks for the comments - the sadowsky tone is the best I have found so far (after many basses!)
 20. Good condition - very little use in recent times - This is an American voltage preamp so has to be used with a step down converter which will come with it - sounds fantastic - for some reason the voltage thing seems to put people off a bit so for sale at £120 delivered. Think this is a good price but comments are welcome. cheers
 21.
So if that's as good at the 09's I've played that's pretty much a Sadowsky P/J for £795. That is a monster bass for the money!
Yep - that about sums it up Chris
