1. Agree completely with the OP. I'm kinda looking for a compressor, and despite having owned an Ashdown previously and liked the sound, pedal board space is an issue so I'm not considering buying another one even though it ticks other boxes in terms of performance and price. Too big, and the VU is pretty but impractical. I can't see it when I'm standing up and it's on the floor anyway. Perhaps they suffer from looking good when they are all stacked up next to each other in the display unit, but when they are on an untidy pedal board with other makes they aren't so practical. Same with the Seymour Duncan pedals - good looking and good performing but not the most practical.
2. Lovely bass! Just had the pleasure of borrowing it for a couple of months and it is a bargain at the price. Lovely classic sounds and it has a handy switchable mid control. The B string sounds great, very easy to get used to for a four-string player like me. Ady's a nice guy to deal with too!
3. Monday Bump, this will go to ebay otherwise and it won't be cheaper!

7. [s]Seymour Duncan Double Back compressor, Volume, Attack & Sustain controls, plus the Doubleback feature for blending either highs, mids or full signal back in with the compressed signal. Top quality pedal, check the 'official' review on Ovnilabs: http://www.ovnilab.c...ws/duncan.shtml. £80 posted.[/s] [s]Seymour Duncan Tweak Fuzz - tweaky EQ control gives plenty of bass, or cool lo-fi sounds. Sounds pretty good in my opinion. £45 posted.[/s] Both of these are on eBay too so may be removed without notice!

14. Hi there, [s]A Marshall Echohead delay pedal for sale.[/s] [s]Multi-function: HiFi (Digital), Analog, Tape Echo, Multitap, Reverse and Mod(ulated) Filter. 4 knobs, a Mode Selector plus the three standard delay controls: Time Feedback Level 2 outputs: 1 is a standard output, the other has spillover where repeats fade away naturally after turning the effect off. Also, it has an input for a tap tempo pedal, using any standard non-latching footswitch. It is probably the cheapest most versatile non-Behringer delay with a tap facility. Looking for £50 £45 delivered. Will be packed in its box as well.[/s] [s]Now also a Boss CH-1 Super Chorus to go. Surprisingly nice on bass, quite subtle but to my ears a very pleasant sound. Very good condition, no box though. £40 posted to basschatters.[/s] Sold on Ebay. Pics to follow, or on request.
