1. A pleasant deal all round, bought a pedal and paid on the Sunday, arrived in the post on Wednesday. As described and in good condition. Can't say fairer than that really. Deal in confidence. randymussel
2. May well be interested - I'm matching up the template to my jazz this evening! I'll let you know the outcome. If its still available that is, just noticed the date on the last post.
3. Just had a great transaction with jay for a gt6b, very good to deal with. Andy
4. Tends to be D'Addario XL Nickel 45-105 on the Jazz, but due to poor supply at the music shop last time it is Roto cheap nickel 35-95s at the mo, they feel like rubber bands but don't sound too bad. I need the extra weight though. Experimenting with boutique strings is unfortunately quite far down my GAS priority list, however much good it would probably do for my tone considering they are the things actually vibrating in the first place.
5.
just sold a DHA eq pedal to warpig. don't hesitate to deal with shaun if you have cause to - he's one of the good guys.
He just passed this on to me I believe - a very smooth deal indeed and a further endorsement, thanks pal. randymussel
6. Final bump before evilbay, any sensible offers considered.
7. No, it doesn't really float my boat to be honest. Wouldn't want the bass one either by the way.
8.
Hi. Is this the kidney version or rack? I'm guessing kidney. I have a Boss ME50 I'm about to put on EBay; would that fit the description of the pedalboard you are after?
Yes its the kidney version. Is it the guitar or bass ME50?
9. Hi there, A Line6 Bass PodXT for sale or trade, you all know what it does. Loads of amp, cab and effect sims, plus a tuner and a compressor, with more tweakability than anyone realistically needs... or at least more than I do, hence the sale. I don't spend much time in the studio so I need something more foot-controllable. It also has an (official Line6) carry case, to transport it in style, as well as the power supply and manual. In perfect working condition, and it is even the more recent model with the better Line6 logo. I would like a straight sale or a trade for any of the following options (+ cash either way if appropriate, in descending order of appeal): Aphex bass xciter MXR bass di Dod FX25( A decent (non-Behringer) delay with tap tempo A medium-large pedal board Tech21 XXL bass Or try me if there's anything else you want to get rid of and I'll let you know... I'll send pics if anyone would like to see it. Happy to meet & let you have a go if you want. Cheers, randymussel
10. Bump from a Cube player - sounds a lot better than other amps in its price range IMO, and at this price a steal.
11. Thanks all. Maybe we'll bump into one another Burrito, have played in the Reading/Berks area a bit myself.
12. Hi all, Andy here, another newbie. I've been lurking and trawling the for sale forums for so long I thought I should introduce myself. Love the site. Plus, I'd like to get rid of some of my gear so it's only polite! I've played a Fender MIJ '75 reissue Jazz for 10 years, currently through a Roland Cube 100, and it is all the bass I need. Just plug me in baby. It doesn't prevent gear envy altogether, still have a soft spot for the old Tanglewood Stingray I learnt on - loved that bass, if anyone has one they can bear to be parted from give me a call. Like loads of other people here I reckon, I learnt by playing along to the chili peppers. But more recently, players like Les Claypool and Victor Wooten have opened my eyes and ears to all that can be done on a bass. By the way I loved that 'Groove' youtube clip thread recently, brought me back to Maceo and The Meters, so much groove. Looking forward to much more bass inspiration on the site, I hope I can contribute. Andy
