1. Hi, i was wondering if you could post / message me the sound clips of this amp preferably in a gig setup if you have any. In my band i currently run a Markbass CMD 121P with a NY121 which i DI into a PA, & would like to hear how they compare. Also do you know if the DI runs pre or post EQ as there doesn't appear to be a selector button. Thanks Graham
2. I've finally decided active basses aren't for me so i've decided to move on my left handed Musicman Stingray 4. I've had the serial number checked on the Ernie Ball site and the year of manufacture is 2012. It has been used for a few gigs in the past & some practices, & is in very good condition with no major dents or dings. The only other thing to mention is that I've recently noticed that the tone pot can be a little bit scratchy sometimes. It comes with a Musicman hard case. Happy to courier in the UK at buyer expense or cash on collection. Thanks.
3. I'm now using a Smooth Hound wireless system, to this is now surplus to requirements. Line6 G30 Wireless system complete with it's original box, in good condition. The clip has come away from the transmitter, which appears to be a common issue looking at the internet, although i used it with a Neotech pouch which is included. Price includes UK mainland postage.
4. Price Drop - £110 Selling my Aguilar TLC Compressor along with a Aguilar power supply, so no need to use batteries. It has been gigged a few times, but is still in a very good condition. Comes in it's original box. Price includes UK mainland postage.
5. Cheers Stephen, after leaving it in it's case for around a year or so collecting dust, i've been playing it a bit more recently. I've therefore made the decision to hang onto it for the time being, so i'm withdrawing it from sale.
6. Hi kevham, Just had this reply from the Ernie Ball Forum Database "This Lefty StingRay was completed on February 22nd, 2012. The color is Black with a Maple Neck" So it's approximately 6 & a half years old. Cheers
7. Hi, to be honest i'm not sure, I bought it second hand from the "Great British Bass Lounge" in Manchester at the beginning of 2015. I have posted the serial number in the Ernie Ball forum database to find out the year of manufacture etc. Cheers
8. Replied to PM's from a couple of interested parties. The Stingray's still here though & is now available at a lower price of £800. Cheers.
9. Hi, i know looking on the internet the usual weight of a Stingray is 9.5lbs. I've just tried to weigh mine using one of those luggage weighers, & it looks like it's roundabout the 9lb area taking into account a wobbly hand, with trying to weigh the bass & take the photo at the same time 😉 Hope that helps.

11.
Nice one! I ended up getting a Schroeder mini10-R a couple of weeks ago, just by chance. I was not looking for anything, but I met someone who had a Barefaced Big Baby 2, same speaker I have ordered and am waiting for, and he suggested I visited him and try his... So I did, and among his various speakers he had this tiny thing (it's a bit smaller than the CMD121P) that sounded great and was loud... and he happened to want to sell it. I have since used this combination once live and a few other times at rehearsal. It's awesome. I can only imagine yours is probably better. LOud, powerful, fits easily in the boot of a Golf with plenty of space left...
It's certainly lighter that my previous TC gear, which wasn't heavy by any stretch of the imagination, & sounds awesome. Can see this lasting me for some time as, at my time of life, i'm after the combination of light & great sounding, which this does by the bucket load. The added bonus is both combo & cab were made in Italy, after reading about some of the Markbass stuff being manufactured in Indonesia
12.
Congrats, that rig sounds great with a Precision, doesn`t it?
Certainly does Lozz
13. Just to update everyone, i did in the end downsizing to a Markbass CMD 121P with a matching New York 121 cab. I've attached a picture of the the setup. Loving the sound & the weight !! Thanks to everyone who contributed on this post :-)
14. Hi BassKS, i'm looking at selling my TC Electronic rig & going down the Markbass route. Do you have any photo's of the Little Mark Tube? Thanks
15. Thanks to everyone who has passed on advice in this thread, it's greatly appreciated I have no doubts that at some stage in the future i will need to downsize, but for the time being i've decided to stick with my TC Electronic gear. I've just ordered some Roqsolid covers for them as well.
16.
There are NY121 cabs up for grabs on here at the moment, and a CMD121P as well..........
Cheers Lozz, looking at it looks like the CMD121P has now sold
