    I have one of these from '09 it had a c prefix on the serial which meant it was March (a=jan b=feb c=march) it was korean. The 09 was after the c which depicts the year i understand have a bump

That would be my old first/second year english teacher Mr Allard ( cant properly remeber his first name it was either Sir or Mr Allard..but yes i think it was Rob at the time he lived in Attleborough).). He started the same day at Eccles that i did in September 1976. His daughter has quite a famous band on the indie scene theyre from Norwich called The Kebeddies : http://uk.myspace.com/thekabeedies Though you no longer need the bump!

    Ah Westones and South Norfolk. A heady mix for me as i was at school in Quidenham (Eccles hall) with a Westone Thunder1 bass (no batteries for the schoolkid) jamming with the English teacher a guitarist in a former life Mr Staples. Banham? They had an Abattoir (Pilgrims?) that turned me into a vegetarian for a week after a school trip. Have a bump for the reminiscence........

    No mick they work sporadically. I would've gotten them changed but the original preamp is too noisy anyway so I just run the thing passively. There's a guy on the forum here called Carl Maltby who for 50 quid will sell you a new preamp but I just couldn't be bothered I preferred he sound in passive mode and used the eq on my tecamp. Anyway how's it going with the Gand l. I was tempted by tht at one stage
