1. Cheers for that its just that i have other basees incoming and eight basses is well, erm BEYOND ACCEPTABLE.to any normal person apparently ( how many can you play at once etc) I politely don't refer to the 25 + pairs of shoes that (lets call her imelda) CLOGS UP THE BLOODY CLOSET WITH. But thats another story, And its not like we cant afford it. Oh no, some of those shoes in there cost way more than a bass. For example: http://eu.christianlouboutin.com/uk_en/homepage/louis-pik-pik-specchio-laminato-1.html Yup,there are two pairs of those.... in different colours admittedly. But i rest my case.... Good job the internet only interests "imelda" for BaceFook and shopping. Other wise i'd be dead.

 8. The previous owner wasn't happy with the light CIJ basswood body so has replaced it with a Fender CIJ 62 Reissue alder body which although slightly heavier, adds a certain clarity to notes. The body is as new & unmarked except for a small dimple near the front horn strap button as highlighted in last pic below.

Fender CIJ 62 Reissue 2008 alder body
Badass II bridge
Nordstrand NP4 Pickup
Hipshot D-Tuner
CTS solid shaft pots, Switchcraft jack socket and Sprague Orange Drop .047mf capacitor.
Gotoh vintage reverse wind machine heads
Original Fender chunky 3 ply Tortoiseshell Pickguard
Screened and vintage braided cable used.
Weight: 9lbs 6oz
He added the new Fender pickguard as he wasn't that keen on the original pinky coloured thin version. Whilst doing this he also screened the pickup and control cavity with copper shielding tape. Straplocks fitted and strap fittings included in sale. So probably well over £500 of refinements made! Bass plays and sounds great just as it should, very growly and typical thick fat Precision woody tones. Medium action and the neck is beautifully comfortable with a nice dark rosewood fretboard. Small amount of mojo on the headstock. The laquer cracked slightly when fitting the D-Tuner as shown in the second to last pic. AREA : Chiswick West London

 10. Just bought this lovely SB1000 from my local guitar shop here in London. It was in the window for 6 months at £350 as a sale for a customer. I felt for sure it would fly out. I was astonished when i walked past the other day and it had £250 on it. I couldnt get to the cash point quick enough....... i swapped bassmeg the Elite SB900 a couple of years ago and ever since there has been an ARIA SB shaped hole in my life. This baby fills it completely.

Cheers Craig
Im interested, Please could you weigh this jazz for me?, Thanks
13. Looking For £350 (collected or plus 25 quid delivered) Recently tried to give the Jazz thing another go but have realised it's really not for me. Necks are way too slender... Pics are here : http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...ake+placid+jazz (hope the previous owner doesn't mind I've had the bass from him for two weeks so the condition is exactly the same.) Comes with a tatty but Functional fitted Fender hard case. I'm in South London / Bromley area but work in West End if that helps for viewing purposes. Cheers Craig
