  5. Back up again! USA model with loads of MOJO! It has been taken down to bare wood and painted black (the body) and would be the ideal project for someone who could reserrect this beast back to its former full glory . That said, Its neck is a joy to play and the bass makes a lovely sound already, its just had a bit of a rough life which seems to imbue it with a rougeish charm. It comes with the Original hard case and certificate of genuine-ness. Hate to see it go but its being replaced at the top of my 4 string collection by a new long sought after replacement. Weight hi side of 8-9lbs but sustains like a mother as a result! Fitted with brand new strings Buyer collection would be advised or can deliver at buyers expense (£20 -£25) Trade? Bass related... Inveigle me.
  6. Gorgeous example of the breed has to go to make way for my new KING. It has a small blemish on the underside near the Jack socket (Damn forgot to photo ill post soon) Its a lovely sounding bass more versatile than a box of 6 eggs. Looking for £425 for this lovely example. Would prefer collection but will post - will be about £25. Comes with padded gig bag.
  7. Well that time has finally come when i have had to thin the herd to make way for a new king (Fingers crossed). I have had the Lakland about a month now and it has done 3 gigs and has been wonderful but i t has to go. thats the thing with being a human you have to eat........ Find attached photos. I paid 400 cash for this a month ago so i'm looking to recoup the same. It comes with the Levy's Lakland padded gig bag and is currently wearing DR Hi Beams. BTW its the Fishman Preamp and the Barts pup's Collection is preffered or i can post at Buyers cost usually about £20. This bass is light for a five string about 7.5-8llbs provisionally sold
  8. Didnt a certain Mr Mark King use a Hayman Bass similar to this on the "Early Tapes" Album, before they got a deal with Polydor and gave John Diggins a bit of a lift?

So thanks again young man!

  16. PICCYS UP Sorry about the quality my DSLR is away at present.
  17. Since the acquisition of my USA L2000 its time to find a new loving home for my tribute. Made in Nov 2008 its of Indonesian extraction and plays wonderfully and has all the tonal variety that the L2000 is famous for. There is not much difference between it and the USA model i therefore don't have room for both. On the trade side i'm looking at either Japanese or American Precisions (with obviously the cash difference addressed). Pictures will be up later in the week upon my return home. Condition is very nearly mint as the photos will confirm A great one size fits all bass, a swiss army knife if you will. PM me with offers etc Cheers CRAIG [attachment=60644:DSCN0211.JPG][attachment=60645:DSCN0212.JPG][attachment=60646:DSCN0213.JPG][attach ment=60647:DSCN0215.JPG][attachment=60648:DSCN0216.JPG][attachment=60649:DSCN0218.JPG][attachment=60 6 50:DSCN0219.JPG]
  18. I love the picture with the two bottles of wine. It reminds me of the castlemaine ad where they over load the van with beer and put on one bottle of sherry for the girls. the car then collapses and they say" I think we overdid the sherry mate!"
