4.
Could i have 2nd dibs on a Powerstation,please ?
I asked for both of them and am about to pay pending a small query about whether *recorded* postage is included in the price BUT you have made me feel guilty with your kitten picture. What should I do?
 5. Just got the Lemmy biog from Jondeeman. Thanks a lot mate! Kudos for promoting 'pass-it-on'ness.
 6. Thanks... due my bizarre strap button location and hunched, twisted frame I'd probably have been after the 38"-45" one though. Will get in touch if I grow a bit...
 7.
Comfort strap, very good condition, home use only for about a week, never gigged. £20 plus postage.
Might be interested in trying this out... is it one of these? What length?
 8.
Unfortunately your last link was broken
Phew, thank goodness it was just an invalid ID and not a link to something else I'd been watching! Cheers for the example of how to embed vids too. Having said I'd relinquished my VT Bass, I've now thrown the big bucks at the VT Deluxe! The blonde has gone though... for now.
 9.
Whereabouts are you based? Might have a friend who is interested.
Aah sorry this just sold yesterday, hadn't got round to updating the thread yet. If he wants it for guitar rather than bass, I have a GT2 for sale though which also has a good fender setting (though 'tweed' may or may not sound as sexy as 'blonde') http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=135976 I'm in Cambridge.
 10.
Maplins do a wide Velcro perfect for pedals and a light application of white spirit thinners on a cloth will ease the removal of same from the pedal later.
Do you mean wipe with thinners on before applying the velcro, or just to clean any stickiness off? I may just have been lucky but I always find if you start from the corner of the velcro and pull it away really slowly, all the glue comes away with the velcro rather than staying on the paint. Just I would prefer to use the thinners for what they are meant for : drinking
 11. +1 on 'won't damage'. Moving on to how they'll sound: Generally, time - based effects like reverb, chorus, delay, flange etc. are going to be usable with either instrument. When it comes to distortions, fuzzes, etc, you might find that units designed for guitar will sound a bit light at the bass end, though you can often get round that by putting them in a blender loop, or just boosting the bass afterwards, e.g. with your amp controls.
 12. I've found with most pedals with a decent paint job, you can peel velcro off without leaving anything too nasty. Not so easy with boss or DOD pedals that have a rubber base. Still, johnny shredfreak have an alternative idea which may be worth it if building your own board...
 13. you'll have tried just turning the output level down, I guess..? there are also issues with the output impedance - an active bass will probably have a lower (I think) output impedance so it will be 'seen' differently by whatever's next in the chain. Adjusting the impedance is one of the raison's d'etre of this thing (GLZ): http://www.bargeconcepts.com/glzbv.html What pedals are you having problems with? Would make it easier to suggest alternatives... EDIT: Try putting something that's 'not bothered' immediately after the bass and see if it can swing the impedance back the way you want. many pedals will have specs for output impedance which should help you work out what's going on...
 14. Sansamp GT2. Not mint but not knackered, works perfectly and sounds great. I've tried to get the light so that it shows up any marks rather than hides them - in the flesh they don't show up quite so much. Now sold.
 15.
There is a Pedal, whole effects board and the processor/ head, with all the correct cables
By the way, if you are blind or partially-sighted and working this out by touch, please let me know so I can punish myself for my insensitivity by a method of your choosing...
 16.
i'm unsure of the model.
Usually it says on it what it is...
I know rolands are an amazing quality company,
but they are not even boutique!
And with the fact my uncle used it with Blondie, it may be worth more.
Only if it is signed by Debbie Harry in her own fluids.
 17. Thanks, hope it was useful! I actually swooped on six Sansamps to compare for use on bass and occasional guitar: BDDi, PDDI, Original, GT2, Blonde, VT. Keeping the BDDI cos it's good at beefing up the sound of a shonky bass (OK, if I spent less on pedals I could afford a better bass, but hey...) - PDDI cos it's good on bass and Guitar, and original as my dad reckons it makes him sound like Santana
 18. Made a little video of the BDDI and the VT : Not sure if the video entirely does justice to either pedal - sounds ok when I listen through speakers, awful through headphones. Also one of the VT Bass and the original sansamp: there's another one of the VT and the blonde but that one turned out a bit quiet. I am still trying to work out how best to record for youtube! Hope someone might find them interesting...
 19. It's very, very good but I'm just about happy enough with my Para Driver, no need to lug both around. Excellent guitar pedal, not really as good as the VT for bass but you could try it if you fanced something different (slightly unconvincing youtube comparison: http://www.youtube.com/user/StompBoxRevolu.../0/bVdmxA59qYs) Musicradar review here. £90ish posted recorded ono.~ Any questions, let me know!
 20. Very happy with a swap deal, A wren 'n' cuff Phat Ph*k for my VT Bass. Good PM conversation while he was waiting for me to give the thing up too! All good.
