1. I seem to remember seeing him use SWR gear at the end of the 80's....
 2.
looks like an NS2000/4. manufactured in Korea. No longer produced. RRP would be about £700 brand new
Correct. Quite a heavy bass but with a very tight focused tone. Great value for money s/h and can be picked up for under £300 if you're lucky.

 5.
I'm in one of the support bands on Friday. I just signed up here to buy a bass I've been after in the for sale section, and the seller tells me you post here. It should be a really good turnout at The Ag, if facebook RSPVs are anything to go by anyway. Really nice venue too - with the most powerful smoke machine I've ever witnessed!
Cool! Will be great to meet you! REALLY looking forward to this show.... but I think the smoke machine will be made redundant by our pyro! lol!
 6. Bumping for our shows coming up at: Camberley (Surrey) 'The Agincourt' - Friday 29th May and London Walthamstow 'The Standard' - Saturday 30th May Hope to see some of you at either!!
 7. Lovely! I have the same but my black pickguard has a white edging...
 8.
Pointy, pointy... you know you want it. Just think; one more banner to add to your siggie!
Ah well, there's the decider.... there's no room for any more banners! lol!
 9. MUST resist..... arghhhh......!!
 10. I was with my family in a Harvester in the Putney/Roehampton area about 15 years ago & he was at the next table with a young lady..... couldn't believe it!!
 11. Spector Best value for money, quality build, feel & sound I've come across as a complete package. Growls/grinds like a mutha and looks sexy as hell....
 12. This is a BARGAIN, someone snap it up!
 13.
Now that's what I'm talking about
HUGE +1! That live on TV vid is great. They piss on most bands you hear/see these days...
 14.
Will be doing our first ticket-selling, contracted gig in mid-June, and see that the contract has in it that we must pay 3% or £27, whichever is the larger, for PRS fees. Is this a standard deduction at a ticketed venue? The 3% of gross receipts bit is what the venue must pay PRS, to be sure, just that I wasn't aware that the band or whatever had to pay it; I thought it was simply what the venue had to stump up. Any clarification most welcome! PS I am waiting for an email from PRS, on this; MU seem unsure. It may depend on how we were booked - in this instance, by direct contact. No agencies or any other third party. Cheers, Den
Den, what venue is this at?
 15. Great to have them back.... Praying they'll tour the UK!
 16.
Update from me: Sunn 1200s/DBX 160x/Aphex 204 2x Aguilar GS412 Traynor YBA 200-2 Ashdown ABM810 Roland RE-301 Space Echo The ABM810 isn't mine anymore as it was totally unnecessary. Traynor is on it's way out, soon to be replaced by an Ampeg V4.
I would LOVE to hear/play through that rig!
 17. Oooooooh, now that IS nice.... Sure you wanna get rid?!
 18. Steve Buslowe and Neil Jason Both US session greats from the 70's....
 19.
I am soon to be taking delivery of one of these lovely basses and was looking for some of the Spector owners to give me there opinion on the pick up's and wether i should change them. At the moment it has EMG-HZ's but i was thinking for changing it to a EMG-40DC at the bridge and a EMG-40P5 at the neck. Any opinions, anyone already changed theirs?
Wait and see once you have it in your hands. Many people are happy with the stock tone, which is very tight and defined. However, should you require a bit more oomph and overall 'tone' then a change to EMG-40s is a safe bet...

 22.
I'll try and take a bit more notice next time. FWIW I know someone who was at the gig and they loved it but unfortunately venue attendance is really hitting an all time low at the minute!
Cheers, good to know we have another satisfied customer Yep, the recession is biting attendance-wise for sure... See you next time mate!
