1. SOLD pending payment & pickup. Thanks for all the interest, Hows about my mint Amrican Fender Jazz Quilt Maple Top Deluxe £850. see add & picks. Rob.
 2. Yup it was fretless but it had a fret job before I bought it & as Ebony is my fovourite wood for fretboards then this is my ideal option anyway. As for diferences, to be totally honest, there is no feel or tonal differences between the American 55-94 & the Euro 55-02's. The 94 had a flamed maple neck but the cherry burst 55-02 is the lightest of any 94 or 02's I've ever tried by a long margin. They average around the 10 lb mark but this one was only 8.6 & that makes a lot of diference when playing for 1.5 to 3 hours straight. Have got the Cherry 55-02 up for sale, see for sale section, NOW SOLD. cheers, Rob.
 3. I've got an 02 Quilt Maple Top American Fender Jazz Deluxe for sale. These were the top of the range instraments when made & getting harder to find. This has a bound rosewood board with pearl block inlays, quilt maple top in tobacco burst finish. It has gold hardware, & vintage noiseless pickups with an 18v 3 eq. It is all original, very light at only 8.6 lbs, in superb condition & comes in a brown Fender Deluxe case. It is up for only £850 including case. Can deliver at cost if required. [Cheers, Rob. Lots of interest & offers, nearly there cash wise ( Simon Itswifty)). 8.
Have a bump as I have no money. This is quite a bass, normally the bodies are in three pieces of wood, but this looks like one piece. In amazing condition too. Not having a fetish for light weight, this would be a wonderful bass.
Look closely & you'll see it is a 3 piece body, very nice despite being a fairly heavy one.
 9. Now if this had a rosewood board, block inlayes & bound Jazz neck it would be my ideal bass, been looking for one to turn up for ages. Good luck with the sale, very nice bass, cheers, Munk.
 10.
Hi, is your 55-02 still for sale? I'm currently trying to sell a Lakland 55-02 fretless, if I can shift it then I would be interested in your Bass for £840.
YUP, PM sent, cheers, Rob.

 12. Hopfully a bit of helpfull advice. The Deluxe pre amps have a fairly large circuit board attached to the underside of the volume pot & the body routing is larger than standard to accomadate this which actually goes under the pick guard unlike smaller standard Jazz routing.
