SOLD

I'm contemplating selling my Geddy Lee. Really nice bass, but I've just bought a Precision which is doing the business at the moment and I could do with investing some moneys into the band. I've had it for about 12 months, gigged it fairly regularly (40-50 times) in that time and it's never missed a beat. Sounds great, is very easy to play, for me, as it has a nice slender neck. I've attached some photos, it has some wear and tear, nothing major, I can't see any breaks in the paintwork, but there are pressure indents and faint marks. I'm sure these would buff out given enough work. The photos exaggerate these greatly, they're barely noticeable in the flesh (unless you're looking hard obviously!) The strings are about 2 months old, and are probably Slinkys, but my memory is useless...still life in them. It will need to be collection only as I don't have a bag/box/case to ship it in. Just the bass, that's alls on offer! I bought it for £550, £475 seems fair. Not looking to trade for anything other than SM57s/58s/comparable vocal mics, or a Presonus StudioLive console! 2. Does everything really need a photo? If I put an ad up for a piece or rack equipment (like the Saffire Pro, I had up yesterday) if I say it's mint/as new/not a mark on it and it works, surely that's enough? If you have the level of trust to buy from someone on here, I think you're just as at risk if it has a photo in the listing. Basses and cabs, fair enough, there will 99% of the time be small blemishes to highlight, but I don't agree that everything needs a photo. I'd buy from a thread with a stock photo.
3. Just check out the functionality on these, it's unbelievable. The iPad app looks particularly great. If we can afford one, I'm gonna buy an iPad too, let one of the WAGS control the vocal volume from the crowd on an iPad, instant and free sound engineer! 6. just got some delivery quotes, £30 is the cheapest...
7. Offering this up, going to consolidate into a Mixer/Interface combo (if I can find a well priced Mackie 1640i!!). We've used it fairly infrequently in the studio and once at a gig to great effect. It's been in a rack since I've had it and it arrived with me in mint condition, as it remains. Price is £275 delivered, which is just under what I paid and seems to be the going rate on eBay etc... 10. Does anyone do a wireless system which integrates both a wireless send for your instrument and receives a wireless IEM signal? Would this even work? It's all Witchcraft to me...

12. I think, if you find the right venues and play songs which are still fairly well known, you'd be surprised what you'll get away with. We play a different set to most bands around here, but it's still well known stuff and we get thanked at every venue for being a bit different. There's an appetite for the alternative at the moment. There's only so many times you can hear Sex on Fire before even the dullest person will get bored.
13. I'm with Low End Bee. If we don't all like a song, we don't play it, and it can't be "cheesy" (in our opinion, obviously). We haven't got a weekend off in April, so we're doing something right.
14. I'll echo the above, bought a Mex P from Alain and it was as easy a transaction as you could imagine. Highly recommended.
15. They're lovely. I'm hoping a burgundy one might appear for sale at one point. Underrated!

18. I bought Alan's ND410 from him and he was extremely accommodating with my crazy arrangements! Very highly recommended trader!
19. Dave bought some PA speakers from me, great communication and arrived to collect when he said he would! I would highly recommend selling your equipment to this man.
