STRINGS (new): Peavey Cirrus 4's (45-105) + D'Addario TC-B(135)

Recommended Posts

Clearing out! Some very good strings here (some are possibly hard/impossible to find in the UK - got them through a friend in the USA). All are new, in packets etc.
Prices are fixed but do include proper packaging and postage.
If they're not sold I'll just keep/use them (so some might be gradually removed if I need them)
Payment via Personal PayPal.
Sorry, the photos are not sync'd but details of the Strings are given (so you should be able to match)
What are the Peavey's like?
Excellent - these are the 'Thermalfused' Xtra Longs that they fit to new/high-end PV instruments. USA made, 45/65/80/105, nickel wound. Bright, long-lasting. Nice tension/feel. Punchy, tight, articulate. Excellent value really.

B u M p + adding some slightly used strings 4-sale:-

DR Black Beauty' 5's (45-130's) Extra-Life: hardly used. The only loss of 'black' is from the string post and bridge area(s). I've straightened the ends. Measure: G (103cm); D (109cm): A (114cm); E (115cm); B (109cm).
£25 posted (they're £43-45 new)

Status Half-Round (Flat-Wound?) 5's 45-130: these are supposed to be half-rounds (as per Status site) but look like Flats to me. Black silks. Little used. Straightened and measured: G (109cm); D (112cm); A (116cm); E (115cm); B (110cm).
£11 posted (£21.50 on Status site)

Hi Rich ! .. the PV's are nickelwound (... and 'thermalfused' !! .. whatever that means*) and will be fine for a J' if you're OK with 45-105's (40;65;80;105). It's what PV fit on their high-end range.

* ... (according to PV) ..." thermal-fusing technology ensures that the Cirrus Bass string will be bright sounding and long lasting. No dead spots, no loose winds. .. the T-F process electronically welds the core to the wrap, ensuring tightness, eliminating slippage and premature tone-loss, Tight, punchy ... with clarity and articulation... Perfection in balance, tone and feel..."
Sound wonderful to me! .. but I'm only using 40-100's now.
