ATKs are great basses - kill stingrays every time for me. If I didn't have my Bongo I'd have a 300 today. To answer your question I think it could possibly be rosewood fretboards (310) instead of maple (300). Not much other than that. Maybe the 310 goes up to 11 or something... It looks like the 300 has a maple 'board compared to the 310's Rosewood. That's all that I can see different.
