Look at the reverse bottom of the neck and you can see the heel which was pulled off an original Framus body. Yikes! Whose idea was that? Bassassin Posted November 12, 2007 Share Posted November 12, 2007 That 6-bolt neckplate suggests Moridaira as a maker - you see that frequently on their house brand Morris & on some import brands, including early MIJ CMIs. However, it's anyone's guess what name was on the original headstock of this thing - in fact a lot of early Japcrap imports were unbranded - and this looks early to me.
