hi, i'm dave, i've been playing bass for over 20 years, played in around 5 bands since the 80's. I'm now recording ambient , film , music,using some virtual synths, and a les paul, and my 5 string fretless pedulla, if you wish you can check out some of my tracks on myspace, soundclick,and reverbnation.

Thanks for the welcome, there's a control dial on the pedulla to enable you to adjust the amount of active, or passive sound that it's putting out. thanks again, dave, ps, that's a nice looking fender youv'e got in your pic.

I didn't know about the active/passive blend. I'd probably still mod it out - I'm one of those who thinks that the extra electronics give you their sound, instead of the raw instrument. Not yet met an active sound I like, although a Status S2 came pretty close...
