1. I'm going to withdraw this from sale for now and if it's stil on my list of items to move on in the new year will relist. Thanks to all those who have shown an interest in the item.
2. I'll definitely take a look at delivery options for this going forward, thanks for the info./advice.
3. Thanks to those who showed an interest is this, but I think this might be a bit too much of a specialist item and the time of year's not the best, so going to withdraw this and maybe rethink next year.
4. Okay, final price drop but if there's no interest by the end of next week I'll withdraw it from sale and maybe try again next year.
5. GAS is so BAD. I've seen another bass I'm now lusting over. I'm not sure how long the other instrument will be available, so I'm dropping the price on this one in the hope that it can help finance the new purchase. If the other instrument goes before this one, I reserve the right to put the price back up
6. I've had a few further enquiries about this, but nothing firm yet. Connected an amp for the first time in a while and it still sounds great. Quality engineering.
7. Hi ash, sorry for the delay in replying. I have to admit I don't have the first idea about organising a courier and don't have anything to box this in, so for now I'm afraid I'll have to stick to pick-up only, but I will try and look into how I'd go about doing this as I've a few other items I'd like to move on as well as this, which undoubtedle would benefit from a postage option. Anyway, thanks for your interest.
8. I've not changed anything on the instrument. I don't know whether the previous owner(s) have but (beyond the defret) I think it's unaltered.
9. I've finally decided to put this back up for sale (having withdrawn it previously). It's a lovely instrument, easy to play, sounds great, but I really don't play it enough anymore. I've had some interest in this recently so was asked a few questions about it, therefore additional info. listed below. (Disclaimer: weight taken on bathroom scales so not super precise, but did re-weight several times to verify)

This weighs 5.2kg
The nut width is 6.4cm
The string spacing (measuring halfway across one string to halfway across the adjacent string and at the nut) is 1 cm for B - E and 0.8 cm for C - F and as close to 17mm as my poor old eyes can tell at the bridge.
10. Haven't been on basschat in a while and forgot I had this lot up for sale, let's drop the price to £300.
11. Not been on basschat in a while and just remembered I had this up for sale - price dropped to £60 if anyone's interested.
12. I am so sorry to those who've been asking about this cabs availability. I've not been on bass chat in a long while and not been getting any updates regarding this thread via email - obviously I didn't set something up correctly. Anyway apologies to those who had been asking about this cab with no response. The cab is still available if anyone's interested.
13. What a shame. I was a big Gamma fan back in the day.
14.
I know most of you will have watched Viacelsav's videos and I just wanted to give the guy a little love for the fact he's a purely amateur musician but brings an incredible amount of passion and enthusiasm to his playing - and far from being some technical w***-fest, the guy is obviously hugely in love with playing bass - and for me that's incredibly powerful and inspiring. Music today has in a lot of cases become massively cynical and depressing - and while this guy hasn't 'made it' in the traditional sense, he has more than 'made it' in the true sense in that he's totally created his own style that's driven by a love of melody, the fact that he makes Flea look a little lame is beside the point Anyway enough rambling from me - here's a couple of vids I like - I'm not a fan of loads of slap bass but I think what Viacelsav is doing is beyond that, it's just highly skilled/passionate playing at its best.
+1 on all of the above. Watched this guy a few times and the passion and pure enjoyment definitely comes through along with some great playing.
15. My goodness, a year already. Absolutely brilliant guitarist, sorely missed.
16. This is very sad news. Unfortunately I never met Pete (although I did have the privilege to meet Ian a couple of times) but there's now doubt that Pete & Ian shaped my sound and playing every bit as much as Stanley Clarke, Mark King, Jaco, Geddy et al. by creating such wonderful instruments. I've owned my Wal Custom MKI since the 80's and its still the standard I compare others against. RIP Pete.
17.

Glad you put these pics up ped, my picture server is down at present so I couldn't post anything myself. Yes indeed it was two years back (well near enough ) I bought this beauty off you, such a fantastic range of tones, very unique. Lovely instrument.
18.
very soon in Germany:
That is lovely.
Could it be this one? At the 12th of august i picked up my MK1 sycamore Wal at the workshop, which looks a bit like flamed maple. I totally agree with you about Pauls craftmanship! ...
Ooo, it could have been but either way that's another beauty.
19. I'm embarrased to say I've never heard of Shuya Okino (or is it Okino Shuya) but that's some nice music. Definitely going to check out some more from this artist - thanks for sharing.
