My name's Joe and I have been browsing bass chat for a few months now, mainly looking to find a Mesa BB750 for sale (to replace my ageing and crap sounding Ashdown ABM300, Evo I head). and an Aguilar DB115 to compliment my DB210: Wanted ads here!!! It is a great forum! I am surprised I didn't find it sooner as I have been playing bass for ages. Originally with the band Buzzkill http://www.myspace.com/buzzkill from about 1993-2004, then played drums in Eagle Eye for a couple of years http://eagleeye.bandcamp.com. Then I left all of the band business behind and went travelling doing artist residencies with my wife Clare Carter http://www.clarecarter.co.uk for 3 years, to Cyprus, Greenland, Iceland, Norway, Spain and Holland. During this time we made music together on a laptop, which has now turned into The Horn The Hunt http://www.thehornthehunt.com. We have just started gigging and just released our debut album ourselves. You can download for free here: http://thehornthehunt.bandcamp.com. We are now based in Leeds.

Well I think that is just about enough about me! Oh, apart from other instruments and studio gear, I play a black 2001 USA Jazz and a sunburst 1995 USA Precision.

Hi Joe and welcome :) Sounds like you're a prodigiously busy bunny and well-travelled. Hope you can share some of your experiences with us.

As for putting out an album with the missus - that's a rare enterprise for BC members. Most of us here have to employ the 'baggy trousers ploy' to smuggle new basses past our GAS Inspectors.

Good luck finding your Mesa - and enjoy the forum.
