1. Price £450 Bought this off here probably 4 years ago now, used for 2 and been out of music for a couple of years now so not been used in that time - had it serviced by a pro a couple of months ago due to a crackly pot and to me, it sounds even better than before, so much so I was tempted to hang on to it just in case I ever started playing again!! It's powerful, full of tone, versatile, solidly built and easily transportable. The amp is in very good condition cosmetically, a few small flecks on top under the handle but front, back, sides all good. Does come with the padded case and strap but the shoulder pad needs stitching up/replacing. Would prefer collection but will consider courier, any questions please ask
2. Price £200 Bought this off a friend a few years ago when he gave up gigging as I loved the sound and power from it. Sounded great with my Orange Terror head as well! As I'm no longer in bands and gigging I am selling up. Solidly built things, tolex has a few scuffs here and there from gigging but no major damage, loose parts etc. Plastic Marshall logo is missing as you can see. Any questions please ask
3. It is made in the USA for those who have asked, thanks.
4. Ampeg SVT4-PRO in flight case with Korg rack tuner, Ampeg 410HLF cab, footswitch and cables. I'll get straight to the details. I've had this around 3 years but not used it the past year - in that time I've had it serviced and it's all in full working order. It's had a fair bit of giggage so there's a few scuffs and whatnot on the flight case and the case has holes drilled into it for ventilation. The head itself had a pot go missing, when I had it serviced the guy put a random one on for me as you can see from the picture. There is a footswitch (on top of amp) for EQ, Effects Loop, Mute and it is all good and working and comes with cable (a good length one too) and I have a speakon to 1/4" jack cable wired for mono bridging as well. This is a great sounding, very versatile amp, very powerful amp. I am looking for £600 ONO. No trades thank you. Collection is from Leicester, 10-20 minutes from M1 J21. Any other questions please ask!
5. Very interested in this... just gotta sell a few things first to raise the cash!

7. Hi guys, I did have a trawl through the pinned thread but it seems a little old of date. I'm looking for a reliable amp tech to have a look at/fix my SVT4. It is cutting out when it gets warm. I took it to one place that was recommended to me and they had it for a month, said they tested it for ages and found nothing. They didn't even ring me to say it was ready to collect, I had to ring them (they said they rang me but surely I would have a missed call/voicemail at the very least? HMMM). Anyway, I took it to practice and the problem occured straight away, so I suspect they didn't even look at it. Rather patronisingly, they suggested I check my bass, cables etc, so I told them my entire set up works with my back up head no problem and goodbye and I won't see you again! But anyway, if anybody could recommend somebody preferably in the Midlands and surrounding areas, I don't mind a short drive to get the job done. Cheers
8. In the case before/after playing but when I'm setting up and have to put it down, I rest it strings facing my rack case and lean towards the non jack side with the neck against one of the bits that sticks out on my head. Failing that I just lean it flat and forward towards the cab/head. Strings down, it rarely falls over. It's funny when people put the guitars neck, the smooth, slippy part, against the amp. Guarenteed to slide over at the slightest disruption! Anyway, this is the exact reason I bought a cheap bass and am looking at second hand Fenders/Stingrays that already have knocks in them. I jump around a lot on stage as it is so a few dents I'm not bothered about. The Planet Waves thing is clever, I like that.
9. new Last Witness Heavy, groovy, mad, f***ing love it!
10. edit: price now £180, perhaps a little more tempting?!
11. What you see is what you get here. An OLP MM2 wood finish, unmodified and not played by me since I bought it off here a while back as a back up to my modded active version. It's barely been out of it's case so the only things wrong with it are some tiny scratches around the pot and a tiny dint on the back, which were already there when I got it. I attempted to take pictures, you can just about tell the marks. Otherwise it is in great condition and plays nicely (I did have it set up properly when I got it). The case is included, a gator hard case which are about £50-60 new. It has a couple of scuffs on the outside but is otherwise in fine condition. I am looking for £180 and would prefer it to be picked up or buyer to arrange courier. I am looking for a quick sale as I am raising money for a van for my band to tour in! Any questions fire away!
12. As new condition, not a scratch on it! I have lost the instructions however, but I have the original box and it's in the plastic bag/bubble wrap. £50 inc postage
13. 2.1mm jack is correct. £4.50 for 1 though, I could get a whole new supply with the cables for the cost of 5 cables. Thanks anyway! At least I know they are out there...
14. anybody? desperate to get some this week and really don't want to buy a whole new power supply just to get some. who'd have thought such a simple product would be so damn illusive!
15. looking for some of these as I had a few go 'missing' hmmm been searching but can only find singular voodoo ones or daisy chains. anybody know where I can get a pack of 5/6 or whatever? cheers
16. Yeah the guy in the shop did play around with it, I watched him, he was twiddling knobs and stuff, though he didn't play with it for long, about 2 minutes. Originally they thought it was my leads, but I've tried amps at the practice room, my own amp, active and passive basses, a guitar, various leads (even bought a brand new planet waves one) etc and I'm getting the problem whatever I use. I've made a 40 second video of the fault so I can show them what's happening in case of any dispute.
17. Took it to the shop last saturday, the guy messed around with it, said it seemed ok to him. Said take it back and if it's not alright he'll replace it. So, took it to practice again tonight, new leads, new patch leads, my own head etc - still happening. Played with the knobs and it seems when I turn the blend pot up past half, it drops off and with blend up full, there's no sound at all - that's not right is it?
18. ^ yeah, that was bloody quick, no messing around Never nice having stuff stolen though so hope justice is done
19. Interesting topic. My band agrees our set order in a minute! We hardly disagree on anything really but that's just us. We tend to open up with a couple of fast numbers (not that there is really any slow ones lol), play our most well known song in the middle and end with what someone actually called the 'pop song' haha. It is a lot simple and less crazy than the others though. We also try to seperate the couple which make our hands hurt and knacker the drummer out. Also, I strongly disagree about playing songs that have same notes/keys next to each other, we do this all the time and have a couple of easy, slow, doomy jammed parts inbetween them (which also serves as a rest). As long as you make it clear where one song ends and the other starts (basically, if your audience doesn't know your stuff, leave a reasonable gap inbetween them, 20-30 seconds) there is no problem. On a similar note, in heavy music, bands use the open chord in practically every song anyway so it's unavoidable.
