1. Price £450 Bought this off here probably 4 years ago now, used for 2 and been out of music for a couple of years now so not been used in that time - had it serviced by a pro a couple of months ago due to a crackly pot and to me, it sounds even better than before, so much so I was tempted to hang on to it just in case I ever started playing again!! It's powerful, full of tone, versatile, solidly built and easily transportable. The amp is in very good condition cosmetically, a few small flecks on top under the handle but front, back, sides all good. Does come with the padded case and strap but the shoulder pad needs stitching up/replacing. Would prefer collection but will consider courier, any questions please ask
2. Price £200 Bought this off a friend a few years ago when he gave up gigging as I loved the sound and power from it. Sounded great with my Orange Terror head as well! As I'm no longer in bands and gigging I am selling up. Solidly built things, tolex has a few scuffs here and there from gigging but no major damage, loose parts etc. Plastic Marshall logo is missing as you can see. Any questions please ask
3. It is made in the USA for those who have asked, thanks.
4. Ampeg SVT4-PRO in flight case with Korg rack tuner, Ampeg 410HLF cab, footswitch and cables. I'll get straight to the details. I've had this around 3 years but not used it the past year - in that time I've had it serviced and it's all in full working order. It's had a fair bit of giggage so there's a few scuffs and whatnot on the flight case and the case has holes drilled into it for ventilation. The head itself had a pot go missing, when I had it serviced the guy put a random one on for me as you can see from the picture. There is a footswitch (on top of amp) for EQ, Effects Loop, Mute and it is all good and working and comes with cable (a good length one too) and I have a speakon to 1/4" jack cable wired for mono bridging as well. This is a great sounding, very versatile amp, very powerful amp. I am looking for £600 ONO. No trades thank you. Collection is from Leicester, 10-20 minutes from M1 J21. Any other questions please ask!
5. Very interested in this... just gotta sell a few things first to raise the cash!

7. Hi guys, I did have a trawl through the pinned thread but it seems a little old of date. I'm looking for a reliable amp tech to have a look at/fix my SVT4. It is cutting out when it gets warm. I took it to one place that was recommended to me and they had it for a month, said they tested it for ages and found nothing. They didn't even ring me to say it was ready to collect, I had to ring them (they said they rang me but surely I would have a missed call/voicemail at the very least? HMMM). Anyway, I took it to practice and the problem occured straight away, so I suspect they didn't even look at it. Rather patronisingly, they suggested I check my bass, cables etc, so I told them my entire set up works with my back up head no problem and goodbye and I won't see you again! But anyway, if anybody could recommend somebody preferably in the Midlands and surrounding areas, I don't mind a short drive to get the job done. Cheers
8. In the case before/after playing but when I'm setting up and have to put it down, I rest it strings facing my rack case and lean towards the non jack side with the neck against one of the bits that sticks out on my head. Failing that I just lean it flat and forward towards the cab/head. Strings down, it rarely falls over. It's funny when people put the guitars neck, the smooth, slippy part, against the amp. Guarenteed to slide over at the slightest disruption! Anyway, this is the exact reason I bought a cheap bass and am looking at second hand Fenders/Stingrays that already have knocks in them. I jump around a lot on stage as it is so a few dents I'm not bothered about. The Planet Waves thing is clever, I like that.
