I have a 215xlt in 8 ohm for sale here, it is a big cab with 2 15" speakers thet are really "old school rock" sounding. They have a very fast response for a 15, probably the fastest I have come accros. I am selling for £350 or you can get a new one for over £1000.00 if there were any in the UK

EDEN D215XLT

Our updated version of that great 15” traditional 1970s bass sound. Deep, fat, and solid, this 2 X 15” has great classic character without losing definition at high levels. It comes with kick back rollers and both top and side handles. It also features an adjustable tweeter and great punch.

No. If it's an 8 ohm cab then it contains either two 16 ohm speakers in parallel or two 4 ohm speakers in series. Rewiring can thus result in either 32 ohm or 2 ohm impedance. You can't double or halve the impedance of any bass cab through changing the wiring.

With a cab this loud the last thing you need to worry about is having a 4 ohm load to get a few more watts from your amp!

Looks like there is no need to rewire.

I had one of these, a 4 ohm version and it is a monster sounding cabinet. Although its a biggie its not difficult to move because of the tilt wheels and handles.

Mine was not switchable, I dont think its technically possible to have 2 speakers switched 8 and 4, You could do 8 and 2 or 16 and 4 depending on the speakers inside

I would think its loud on its own even

Well worth the money

If someone buys it I have a spare Royall cover
