Lakland Skyline Decade

 

Don’t see many of these come up.  I’d say condition is 9.5, it’s picked up a hairline scratch but will try to polish it out, have taken pictures of any blemishes I could find.

 

I believe the electronics are the same as the USA made ones.  Chi-Sonic pickups.  Passive with VVT controls.

 

Very open to trading up particularly:

- American P Basses or G&L SB-2 (bonus if Fretless)

- Shortscale things especially a Wilcock

 

I’ve never posted a bass, and if I can help it would rather not learn how to now.  Based in London.

Great looking bass, and IIRC, they sound absolutely fantastic, courtesy of those Darkstar pick ups. 

 

Only time I can recall seeing/hearing one in action was some years ago at one of the many South East Bass Bashes when they were held in Addlestone...

 

It belonged to @obbm I believe.

Not me Nik.  I had a Lakland Duck Dunn with a Dark Star way back in the distant past.

How was that? been in the look out for one for ages dint seem to come up. Are they heavy like Lakeland’s tend to be? John Stirrat from Wilco had one and it sounded great.
