Combed20 Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago (edited) Hi all. I'm speaking to Rich Tone music about selling a couple of guitars to them. Due to distance, I would need to send to via courier (which theywill orgsnise). When others are couriering basses, where do they get boxes from? Also, any testimonies on selling to Rich Tone greatly received. Thanks in advance Edited 22 hours ago by Combed20 Quote
jezzaboy Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago Someone mentioned the other day that Andertons sell boxes or Amazon? 1 Quote
warwickhunt Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago Visit a Halfords that has a cycle dept (or any bike shop tbh), they are happy to give away bike boxes which are nice and thick. 1 Quote
BigRedX Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago This. A bike box cut down to size is way more sturdy than your typical guitar/bass box. And you can use all the surplus cardboard as strengthening and padding. Quote
dmccombe7 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Someone asked me to put a length of laminate floor in the box running along the neck and joint area to offer more strength. From memory i bubble wrapped the neck with the smaller/thinner bubble wrap attached the laminate and then wrapped the full neck and body with the heavier bubble wrap. I don't sell or post many basses so i'm no expert. Dave Quote
